Almost an identical build that I will be doing here in a few days I can’t wait!
I absolutely love it! It's extremely responsive and renders like a champ. Good luck!
@@TheAverageBeau yup almost mine too is the same
only a tip, move your GPU to the first slot, this slot is the more fast on the MB
Thank you for you comment, I actually already moved the GPU after another user commented. Thanks for trying to help though!
@@TheAverageBeau case is a bit small for fitting.
I love that painting in the background, thank you very much. You made me smile and made my day.
:) awesome I was wondering if you'd end up noticing it haha.
Building mine in these upcoming weeks! Going to have the same monitor you bought as well. Can’t wait
That monitor is amazing. I used the calibration tool built into Windows and it looks great!
Hey man Great Video My friend. I Think that your exicitement got you while building the PC Because you could have added the Ram, SSD, and CPU while the motherboard was out of the case. Also You could used a little bit of music in the background for those moments that you were trying to figure where a few things go. Overall Very informative and Glad that I felt your excitement when the computer was done.
Thank you for your insights that will be very helpful! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I thought about how I should have added them before putting the board in right after I got done and all I could think was dang it haha. Thank you!
Very nice build, like the add on of the Kraken AIO. The motherboard might have not been compatible with the CPU, you probably needed an older ryzen CPU to update the bios before dropping in the ryzen 9. I do have some critiques about your build though. You always want to put your motherboard together outside of the case, everything but the gpu. You want to put it together on top of the motherboard box as well. The anti static banner is supposed to be clipped to the power supply and then to you, not the case. And finally, the gpu should be put on the top slot. Other than that, great build
Thank you for the insight! I actually moved the GPU to the top slot after another person's comment so that one for solved :)
@@TheAverageBeau you're very welcome, keep at it though
i'm doing a 3900x build this week
X570 Unify
Trident Z Neo 32GB 3600mhz
970 EVO Plus 1TB
Corsair RM850
case:Cougar MX330
coming from an i7 4770k so excited =)
The 3900x is an absolute powerhouse. First machine I've owned that renders videos in less time than the video duration. 35min video in 25min with tons of edits.
@@TheAverageBeau yea trying to edit 4k content on a quadcore is painful lol
Last week I retired my trusty 4770k for a 3900X as well, good luck on your build!
@@cmarting83 well my dad has an i5 650 so i'm giving him my 4770k so we both get an upgrade =)
@@williamregal8503 how did your build go? I'm looking to get the 3900x as well & did you build it yourself? Still debating on whether to trust myself or not😂
Great build
Thank you I appreciate it!
@@TheAverageBeau my build will be complete soon I'm waiting on the new graphics cards
Good luck, I love building PC! Hope it goes well and works well!
@@TheAverageBeau me too I'm going big gotta go all out for cyberpunk
Haha absolutely. I'm also looking forward to baldur's gate 3.
22:25 Tip: dont touch the cpu top or bottom, only hold from the sides
Nice video man!
Thank you very much!
I used your Amazon link to purchase a VoIP headset today, I know you do not see who uses the links but I wanted to let you know so you can see if you make anything because I used it.
Hey bro that 2080 super needs to go in the very top PCIe 16x slot. There is a big difference between the two 16x slots. You may also in time look into getting an AIO cooler for the cpu although i agree with you that its not needed to get up and running.
I appreciate your information. I did however switch the GPU position after another RUclips viewer let me know. I also but an AIO in at the end partially because of the lights on the stock cooler. Thank you for trying to help! Have and above average day!
Only 50 subs, you have potential and I feel you will become the next big tech youtuber. Good luck brother!!
Thank you kindly for the vote of confidence that means a lot!
bet your monitor accelerated your process to build a beastly rig ;)
good job bro. should kill editing now!
Absolutely did, haha. Looked at it and said this monitor deserves better. The editing it stuffer free and super quick now.
@@TheAverageBeau just got my confirmation to pick up now, i shall go get it. subd.
Awesome! Enjoy it's absolutely fantastic!
i'am gonna also build it soon this month i guess lot of delivery issues these corona lock down days !
Lol ! xD everybody is crazy for funky RGB cases all over disco lights at night in pc
. 34:00 u say not a rgb fan like me !
Yeah I prefer a sleek look to my electronics.
@@TheAverageBeau me too. whats your discord id ?
I don't have one yet or at least I'm never on it. Sorry
@@TheAverageBeau fb ?
I hate being that guy but there's a couple of things I noticed about the build which don't get me wrong looks great. I'm just a little annoyed with a couple of things you did while building, most I can get by with but the GPU should be in the top most slot of the motherboard. Some motherboards, I haven't done any research on the one you went with, but some have less performance on lower 16x slots so I find it's a good rule of thumb to put the graphics card in the top most slot. Also, this comments mainly as a Linus Tech Tips joke, but that peel wasn't the greatest on the case, totally the manufactures fault.
That’s not the primary slot for your graphics card. Not getting the full capability from your secondary slot. Look in the motherboard manual. 9/10 the bottom slot is for a second graphics card. Usually it’s x8 and not a x16. The top pcie is usually the primary. Other than that looks good. Also did the motherboard have an 8pin cpu power connecter besides the 24pin? Or an 8 pin plus 4 pin? Thx
Pci will do x16 on any of the slots in single mode but drops to slot one primary with multiple. They just use slot one as a reference in the manual. I appreciate your concern though.
It was 8pin +4pin
TheAverageBeau I gotcha appreciate it. I guess you learn something new everyday
I was looking into this more today and used GPUZ to test and you are correct. I must have miss read or miss interpreted the manual. I appropriate your information and will be swapping GPU locations. Thank you!
TheAverageBeau no problem man. I’m building a 3900x build at the moment 2. Noticed it in my motherboard manual. You will have better air flow having it on the top 2.
I could use your help, for your motherboard, it came with the front I/o cable with the power, p + p - etc cable.& the q connector.... did you use those with the cases front panel I/o cable? I’m so confused on this part of the build
Sorry for the delay. Neither of those are required. The q connector is used to make front panel set up easier. You can plug the case front panel connections into the q connector then just simply connect the q connector to the motherboard, or just connect the pins to the motherboard. It's for easy or use and is not needed. The p + p extension is no needed as well. It is used to connect rgb lights if you need a non lit space between the light and the connection. Hope this helps.
U should of went with the sabrent rocket4.0 as it’s the same price as the Samsung nvme ssd u should of went with a reliable air cooler as it will preform the same and need less maintenance unless there’s something u needed Perticuarly on that board then u should of went with a cheaper motherboard and a 650w psu would be plenty or even a 750w but what can I say yours will last longer
So would a 750W evga gold be ok with this setup - the motherboard which is a 400 series?
As long as it has two CPU connectors it will work. You could use a 600w if you wanted but a 750w will be more efficient and less stressed so it may stop it from failing.
What did you spray on your components? Also, should I really be worried about transferring currents during assembly?
It was just canned air to get dust out of the way. The current question is a tough call. Technical you should always considered it a possible risk. However if it is cold and humidity is low you should definitely take care as you are way more likely to cause transfer of current.
TheAverageBeau this is probably a stupid question, but how do you install the software for the 2080 without using the driver disk? I bought a gigabyte etc 2080 super.
If you go to nividia's website they have the drivers and make it pretty easy to install
I’m having terrible stuttering issues with this build any ideas!? Desperately need help
What kind of studdering? Do you have any more detail?
TheAverageBeau Like fps sudden drops. Tried in two different games. Frames will go from like 170 and drop down to 100 for split second then back up causing a stutter. It’s not just games even RUclips video it happens.
When I installed my GPU I put it is like the second or third slot and I was wrong. It needed to be in the first pcie slot. Could that be the issue?
Did you not use stand-offs when installing your mobo?
I definitely did, all 9, 3 by 3. My apologies if I made it seems like I didn't use them.
Monitor Details Plz, Thanks in advance bro.
Any particular details you are looking for? Glad to help if I can!
How is the gpu? Notice any coil whine?
I'm that case it seems very quiet. That being said I also have terrible hearing so I am not a good judge haha. I will say the stock CPU cooler was super loud, having the water cooler had made the systems virtually silent to me.
Is it a good idea to use a stock cooler for a ryzen 9???🤷♀️🤷♀️
Nothing wrong with stock coolers for ryzen. They work great, they are just loud. Water cooled is just better at bringing the codes temp down and that usually means safer overclocking. The Ryzen 9 specifically though gets super hot so a water cooler is recommended but not required.
I wouldn’t use the stock cooler for a Ryzen 9 to be honest they do ok. But even a 50 dollar after market cooler would be so much better.
what power supply would you recommend if that one isnt in stock
I have always been a fan of EVGA power supplies, I just happened to get a good deal on the corsair one I used.
the gpu placement tho
I moved it later. No worries :)
whats the price
I think it's like $450 normally, but I paid $399 on sale.
@@TheAverageBeau wats da price of da entire pc?
The PC build is roughly $2400 when prices are back to normal.
@@TheAverageBeau lol I have a better performing pc for cheaper
:/
same cpu same gpu
but 2,57K instead
I bought parts on sale and the price I started was $2,400 full retail. But who got what for what price doesn't matter. You have a machine you can have your kind of fun with and that's what matters.
which monitor is that?
It's an MSI MAG321CQR. I have another video where I unbox it as well if you wanted to see that.
Pls shorten. It's sbeen 15 Mins and u have barely touched ur mother board
Boring
Thanks for the feedback.
