Word to the wise; I used the prehistoric dinosaur mod and it caused severe crash issues on PS5. Literally could not go further than 75 yards without a crash. Never had a single crash, installed the mod -man’s could not stop crashing. Deleted the mod and had a single crash since. The mod seemed like a cool idea but it is completely broken.
Ya I had both of them prehistoric mods installed (ps5) an shi I couldn't even load into the world before it just froze and crashed but the second I uninstall those 2 mods completely it finally let me get back into my world
Svartalfheim was recently announced to be a future premium mod. Not knocking the decision, but worth pointing out that in a short period of time, the map is going to be essentially pulled unless you pay for it. I know some people are against community mod purchases and would never pay. I'm not against paying for someone's hard work, mod or no. But it is worth pointing out that Svartalfheim is still incomplete. I do think paying for an incomplete mod is asking a bit much.
@@ArisB21 PVE mod not a PVE server with raids. I ment as in having a mod on a private pvp server to have more environmental challanges like dinos or NPCs that come try to destroy your base / things / dinos. To present more of a challange when you dont have players or for the server population in general.
I recommend mixing QOL+ and Machines+ to get all the functions of automated ark with extra QOL additions, and allows you to adjust more stuff like slot count, fuel usage, crafting speed, structure size. I personally like the customization that I get from mixing them over automated ark.

The Draconic Chronicles is one I’ll have to check out through my next play through. Maybe once Wild Card fixes the save game issue on Xbox I’ll feel more adventurous. Well done and rock on!
Also svartlehfiem would not download on PS5. Tried several times and it will not download. Was looking forward to playing it so much but just can’t get it to work. Very unfortunate.

I had AA and QOL running on PS5 and it seemed to cause some glitches… not sure how complicated it would be, but the devs need to add auto updates for your active mods list ASAP… cryos had an error, didn’t update properly, and I lost two high level sealed Dino’s the last time I logged in… keep it up Teach
I do have a question regarding some of these mods... mostly from an implementation standpoint. When looking through the descriptions of some mods, you see a section with ini text. Is that something that you need to add into the ini of your server or are the mods simply install and play? I ask, for myself and those not familiar with changing the ini settings, because I would love to use some of these mods, but have shied away because I haven't been able to find out the answer to this.

This is going to sound stupid but have you tried the turn it off and on method I know I know it sounds stupid but I had the same problem and I shut it off and loaded back up and then uninstalled and reinstalled and it worked

I think the qol+ is not getting much attention because of the automared ark. QoL+ has structures that AA doesnt have which are very cool, the mutation stuff and the nanny, but mostly they do the same thing. I havent checked the QoL+ but by the description it seens that the AA when it comes to auto sorting things is easier...i set it up once and now every time i go to my base i press 1 button. Another thing that i saw is that qol+ looks more balanced and by that i mean that those structures that do special things do use more rare resources to operate, which can be a good or bad thing depending on the time you have available to play. Easy Mutations is another great mod, very simple and saves you a bunch of time preparing dinos for boss. I was gonna test that mod in conjunction with Better breeding to guarantee always the best baby possible.

As the member of my in game group who has taken over the breeding/boss dino prep... you have *definitely* piqued my interest with this... especially given my insane work schedule of 13 hour days. You definitely have my thanks.
@Skydron yeah the mod is very simple. Make the dinos drink the potion and mutation is guaranteed. On the server im playing is set up in a way that I give the parents 20 potions each and offspring comes with 40 mutated points in a random stat which counts as 1 mutation in the line. I saw this other mutation mod...Better Breeding which the central idea is a to always get the higher stats from parents, including mutation so I thought they would work well together reduce even more the work to get the best dino. The mod has some known issues with passing mutations so I havent tested yet
Hello 👋 I am wondering if any other players are having issues with mods, specifically this shiny mod just reverting your shiny dinos back to normal. I am trying to fix it but it happened as soon as I updated the mod. So I am wondering if it's an easy fix? Or have I lost all my shiny dinos for good?! 🫠

When I use this mod on my Xbox it’s severely affects my game and causes the ground in game to appear very broken

What would be insane is a PVE mod of NPCs that build large villages tame dinos and fight the player for resources or just raid you out right.
You can’t be raided on pve.

I need a Chibi crafter/painter. It’s tedious enough grinding for Chibies, but finding one with colors that you actually like is rare.

Visual storage mod with the pull it mod works amazing I give it as a great alternative for automatic ark

I do have a question regarding some of these mods... mostly from an implementation standpoint.
When looking through the descriptions of some mods, you see a section with ini text. Is that something that you need to add into the ini of your server or are the mods simply install and play?

Ini files are to customize the mod even further usually they will say what the ini does so you could further adjust it
