Ha, so cool! I was the a Game Designer, Lead Level Designer, Writer, and Cinematic Director for AvP 2 (we wore a lot of hats back in the day). Thanks for posting this! We had a ton of fun on this project but man, it was a tough one to ship!
When I was 15, I rushed to the PX (Army version of Walmart) and was first in line to buy this game with my lawn mowing money. I have played all three campaigns all the way through multiple times and played online until the servers stopped being supported. Thank you and your team for all of the hard work you put into this. It is by far my favorite game of the all time and the high watermark of the Aliens franchise in games.

This story would be an instant HIT at the box office and would not change the cannon of the originals, and would require only minor script editing. But alas the ones who are on the boards are very educated, but dumb in common sense. We used to call those people "educated idiots".
After so many years, now I finally understand the plot of the game. I was very young when this game came out, didn't understand english that well, and was to scared to play any campaign other than the xenomorph. It's kinda crazy how both antagonists had a obsession with the different species.
God i miss playing AvP2.. this just hit so different! Also it took me this long to realize that the Iron Bears may have succeeded in creating a bioweapon to take down the Yautja, terrifying thought.. And giving Eisenberg them monologues made him more of a character especially towards the end.. love it dude!
This game still is way cooler than the modern AVP games currently and has way more of a plot that has you wanting to know more and follow along through the entire story of each playthrough. But here in this vid, we see it all in such perfect Chronological order that makes it a movie masterpiece!

Finally! The game of my childhood. The game which is one of the most famous projects of "Monolith Productions". The game that I will always remember. The game that is very inspired by the movie universe "Alien" and "Predator". The game that has already had it's 20th anniversary, it deserves a remaster or maybe a remake (theoretically). @@KilljoySR This is just my opinion. In general, when I first played AVP 2, especially at the beginning of the game as a Marine, it was really scary. Dark corridors, screamers, music, Aliens appearing out of nowhere. As for F.E.A.R., it’s not very scary, only in the DLC’s, namely: “Extraction Point” and “Perseus Mandate”. I'm not saying it sucks, F.E.A.R is good too.
It seems like the WY had control of everything until the incident and the Arrival of an entire Predator crew. There were some other incidents mentioned by characters but dealing with a xeno infestation inside the POC rather than fight them from the outside and predators infiltrating from múltiple sides really overrun the WY. Plus rykov and Eisenberg were both tunnel-vision in their own vendettas and put all of the personal at risk. Amazing game and really makes the player Replay the campaigns to put the pieces together. The detail where the 3 protagonists Cross paths and yet none of them have beef between them is fantastic.
Yeah I kinda agree. The Marine story in AVP 2000 had some xeno jumpscares that while good for the first two hours, it just got a little irritating later on. But it's not as bad as the Doom 3 jumpscares with Imps waiting behind certain doors.
@SakuragiSayo to be fair, he's right about this whole campaign being better through and through with how the stories and even our characters overlapping. Some of the gameplay was better in AvP 2010, but I'll take the Alien lifecycle any day as part of the gameplay too.
Fantastic job! I love it very much! I love that you always adding in it so much extra like the cutted dialogs, scenes which the player wouldnt see (for example i never saw the Empress taken out from the hive at the predator campaign etc.) I love that you added so many text and suprisingly you showed us the easter eggs rooms! :) Just a little nitpick unfurtunatelly not every text and mission briefs added but no problem it was a fantastic game movie as always thank you very much! (Praaetorian showcase was good too! ^^ ) And still i love so much that you cutting these stories into chronological cut. Thank you for entertaining us with these game movies you adding so much work in these videos!

This game is heaven and glory of eteranl hunt... nothing comes even close to it's epicness. The marine's minigun is one of its kind, the preds' plasma caster is OP as hell, and the recharge mechanic kinda nonsence too, but the campaign kicks ass nevertheless! Even the alien's chapter blows every other game out of the water with the story. This is movie material ready to adapt on the fucking spot
Dang this is amazing! It goes to show there's a lot of hidden details and other stuff in this game that you don't even get to see just from playing the game normal.
This game, and it's predecessor are honestly a one of a kind game. I could never play it because I was born in 2002, and it never made it's way to Consoles. I hope one day to get a PC and play this game and it's multi. Alien Life Cycle TDM was so fucking amazing. And the single player story still holds up. It's honestly a crime there hasn't been a remake or remaster, or even a rerelease. Only AVP fans can get screwed over this much. Well, except for Star War's Fans. Thx for making this. I was too young to really understand the story, and the captions back in the day were tiny as hell.
Nicely done with this game movie for avp2. I know that spooky799kil did two game movie videos which were just longplays in chronological order with more detail but no cut or edited content, but this is good to.
Monolith the company that made this game and also No One Lives Forever is extremely underrated in my opinion. Both these games need a remaster or new one!

Мужик ты лучший, не представляю сколько сил и сил и времени было потраченно на столь шедевральную игру... Я сам с ней знаком с самого детства, когда у меня появился первый компьютер, да да с тем самым переводом от "Фаргус" кривым но больно менее понятным.. Периодически возвращался а неё чтобы полностью понять сюжет и ход действия, но блин у тебя это получилось на все 200%. (Плюсом я не знал про секретное место когда играешь за Харисона и сбегаешь из Тюрьмы от ВЮ И Рыкова (наверху там где идёшь через вент шахту) Я реально сколько не проходил её никогда об этом не знал. Честно скажу спустя 22 года игра может удивить, умели делать игры тогда! Респект тебе и Огромный респект за Ру субтитры

What was special about the player controlled alien is that it was born from real asshole. I guess that's one thing that found its way into xeno's DNA.
Man AVP2 was the best AVP game ever and still is. I just loved the multiplayer mode aswell.

With the number of Xenomorphs already on LV-1201, I'm surprised WY managed to finish construction of the POC and Pods.
Not only POC and the Pods but also the tunnel and pipelines network. That's insane.

I disagree. The Predator Campaign, yes, it was better in this game. But the Alien/Xenomorph campaign was better in AVP 2010.

This is the best game from alien/predator universe and this is the best walkthrough of this game. You did an amazing job, sir.

That might be difficult since it's an Xbox OG game, I know there are emulators for that but even that can be hard to a movie cut.
It's on the PS2. The gameplay isn't that cinematic...and the controls are a bit clunky.

I tried to play the hard difficulty as well. And it's not as hard as I expected, I even enjoyed the game more.

In the comics they had clamp like devices to suspend the egg flaps from blooming. Prolly used the same in this story
Also seems that in the lore, the eggs take some time to "activate" after being laid. That, or androids could safely handle eggs in theory
