Israeli military approves Lebanon operation plans

The Israeli military said Tuesday that its plans for an attack in southern Lebanon had been approved amid growing clashes with Iran-backed Hezbollah militants.
The Israel Defense Forces said that steps had been taken to "accelerate readiness in the field", with the Israeli Foreign Minister threatening to destroy Hezbollah in an "all-out war."
Tensions have been flaring along the Lebanese border with Israel, as Israeli forces have been exchanging cross-border attacks with the militant group.
