The jpn version says something like he made it in secret to sort out the feelings he didn't realize he had until after her passing. Is it bad that I didn't think it was sus at all? It was clear he was grieving, it was clear that there was pain in her passing. I honestly do not understand where all the susness came from. Did we play the same game?
I think the issue is calling it "anatomically correct" which is usually used as shorthand for has genitals. They could have said "lifelike" or "meticulously detailed" or something like that and it probably would have been better understood.
@@Ranixo286 I love the way genitals is the first thing people think about when "anatomically correct" is mentioned, and not that the anatomy is correct, and somehow that is Square Enix's fault and not of the people who thought of genitals
the fact that it went into detail about how urianger made sure it was "anatomically correct" and that what he did with it was "best left untold" was so bizarre for the character and im glad they changed it.
its very obvious that "what happened" was he cuddled it in bed and cried when he missed her. he doesnt seem capable of doing anything else.
Yeah, it was probably positioned in a way to sound crude but when you think about it for more than a moment that's definitely the case.
he read it books and cried

"Hey, let's add a Scion that has ten times the personality of the other Scions! And then kill her off almost immediately."
I believe the person who wrote moenbryda's intro was not the same person who decided to kill her, actually.
After years of games, books, movies, etc. you learn that if a character is introduced and is made very very likeable immediately.
They gon die
And then we got yshtola :) because she's definitely done anything remotely interesting and is a unique character like the other scions yep...
I assumed he just kept crying when seeing so it was given to us. I’m sure he broke down sobbing.
It is noteworthy that the new description is more in line with the OG Japanese text.
it's probably something innocent, like he was hugging it :D
😅 it took them almost a decade to notice the sussy description
