Alex, this video is great! I fly full time for the military as a helicopter instructor, but have been really curious about also using my CFI transfer to build a freelance flight instructor business. Bro! This really helped, especially, in the future I am planning to create like this when I got all my pilot certificates. You should definitely create a part 2 about this. Nonetheless, I used this as my assessment in my 'starting a business' unit in college. Moreover, I just added a couple of things when it comes to hiring flight instructors. I indicated that I will be hiring approximately 3 instructors and I will be giving them students but I am not sure how much money would I get on that, maybe half/half? And how long these students must have a flight instructor with their instrument rating?
Thanks for the feedback! I will definitely look into creating part 2 I do want to add some new stuff. In regard to how much you should pay the instructors depends, from my experience the instructor got 60% and flight school 40%.
