Elvis love all people of All color DID not matter to HIM awesome job keep good work up TCB
My hope is that Elvis is in heaven and sees he's never been forgotten
I hope he gets the RESPECT he deserves. It's about time.
Amen.
Hugely important film....I pray they get it right...Elvis deserves it 🙏⚡⚡TCB ⚡⚡
seen it, they don't.
@cooter because I am in Australia. The director Baz Luhrmann is an Australian and I saw it at a private viewing. Does this help you?
Great reaction thank you let’s hope the Real Elvis gets out there because there’s been a lot of lies said and written about him, he helped a lot of folk out even at a time when blacks and whites were segregated none of this gets mentioned but his love for black people and the heritage boils down to the fact Elvis actually lived that life he lived and grew up in poor black neighbourhoods went to all black Churches, he absorbed all those influences into his own being that’s why he stands out from the crowd it wasn’t easy for Elvis he had to work his butt off before fame hit, the man helped bridge the barrier that segregated blacks from whites he is a civi rights savour but he did it his own way and not publicise it, the man is a legend who is loved by everyone who knows his story
Thank you....truth!
Love the fact the film recognises the roots of his influences . He found a love for black gospel music and blues through the likes of black female musician Sister Rosetta Tharpe . Rock n roll is deeply rooted in black history and I’m so glad that this is being recognised and celebrated ☺️
But ALSO in country and white Gospel, it was THE MIX that made it so great, othervice you would have heard something like it before Elvis, and No one sang like that !!!
@@MrAlanfalk73 ofc / I certainly wasn’t disputing that at all / he’s critically world renowned for a reason . I adore his music. His grit , growl , crazy lyrical phrasing and ofc his amazing presence on stage .
He did really bring those what were considered black genres into the eyes of a wider audience .
@@dankelly6521 sorry, hope it didnt come off harsh, but so many people make it sound like Elvis just took black music and made it popular because he was white, and they seldom recognize that he made a new kind if music .
@@MrAlanfalk73 no worries pal / no it’s a common topic of conversation that there always seems to be two sides to . But I think for me its neither one of the other and more just a bit of both . I’m guessing ur more of a hardcore fan than me so I’m interested what u think of the trailer actually? I know some of his fanbase are not happy with the actor playing him and stuff ? I don’t feel I’ve a right to comment
Brought me to tears and I never get emotional for any movie let alone a trailer. Elvis has so much meaning to me and I grew up on his music and I’m only 23. He’s my idol. And the end of the trailer just got me in my heart strings. I hope this gets the recognition it deserves. First time I’ll ever turn on the Oscars lol
Beautiful words. You have great taste in music. This man is phenomenal and is loved worldwide. From South Africa. TCB. 👍🇿🇦
Elvis sold more then any music dead or alive to this day Elvis Presley Never be forgotten He lives by his billion Of fans 2022 Elvis love all people of All color DID not matter to HIM 🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷
@@mitchellwestford9312 That's true Mitchell. He loved everyone, not a racist bone in his body. He bought his cook, Mary, a house and two cars and gave her jewellery and a huge bonus at Christmas time! Who else has ever had a boss like this??? 🤔 I certainly don't know anyone who worked for a boss as kind as ELVIS! Never! And then that Voice which still echoes through the universe... his echo will never die! TCB! From South Africa. ⚡👍🎸🎤🇿🇦
To the movies ... again and again and again and again !!!
The King! Never be another Elvis...just magic.
I can’t wait. I hope this puts an end to the concept that Elvis stole other’s music. Rather he LOVED, was beyond generous, and gave credit to any person’s song he covered. Thank you for your respectful reaction.
And dispel the myth the he was racist. That pisses me off a lot.
@@laurawilloughby4000 👍🙏
@@laurawilloughby4000 agreed
Yes! If only people would do their research, and know all the wonderful things said about him by BB King, Stevie Wonder, James Brown etc....
@@laurawilloughby4000 Me too, Laura!
Can wait to watch.thTs what they said when u see Elvis in concert, the a nouncer says El is haseft the building and as a fan u feel like u lost your best friend I seen Elvis twice in 75 and 76 in Syracuse, n.y and Niagara falls.
My man Elvis beautiful inside and out. Hope the movie portrays the beautiful soul he was
ELVIS is back. Looks and sounds great. They will be new Elvis fans on June 24th. There's an excitement in the air.
Tears welled in my eyes when he says im turning 40 and im scared nobody is gonna remember me! This movie smells like grammy to me, Austin Butler captures the essence and soul of elvis. Amazing trailer. I can imagine there will be more tears when they show Elvis, it would revive a lot of sad feelings. I was 5yrs old when The King died. Never saw so many people crying on the streets and i was scared. I asked my dad why? He said the King is dead. God took him. Since that day Elvis has been a major influence in my life. Trying to be humble yet cool. Also God fearing. Awesome reaction btw, Blessings to all who read. Sydney, Australia.
TCB Sydney, Australia.... 👍⚡🎸 from Johannesburg, South Africa! Elvis rocks and is loved worldwide! His death made headlines here for days and record sales shot through the roof! Elvis left his mark for sure.⚡🆒️🎸🇿🇦
the part of him turning is so emotional and really gets to me when i saw this trailer. im only 16 but your memory of the aftermath of his death is very bittersweet that he was loved so much.
You guys love Elvis‘s almost as much as I do God bless y’all for keeping today’s generation informed about one of the most amazing entertainers and singers I’ve ever witnessed in my life he was my idol I grow up I want to be him first time I saw him was the aloha tour 1973 I was seven years old and I was Mesmerize so thank you for spreading love
I'm as excited as you two are looks like a good movie. The director was a huge Elvie fan so he did a lot of research on Elvis's life. The Rev. Elvis was talking about was Rev. Dr. Herbert Brewster who was a huge influence on Elvis's life.
The guy who called him a famous white boy in the clip is supposed to be B.B. king.
Yes, Reverend Herbert is the one who famously said: "HIS ECHO WILL NEVER DIE!" and so shall it be, his legend will live on for decades to come. TCB ⚡🎸🇿🇦
Great Trailer. Elvis rocks.
Good reaction from you two I really enjoyed watching you guys lol. Let's all go see what looks to be a very good movie biography of one of the greatest entertainers of the 20th century and perhaps of all time and I said "one" there were quite a few we could mention but in this case it's Elvis Presley.
June 24, 2022 musical date and movie it will go down in history. Elvis Presley was and is a national treasure for everyone to see.👍🙏🇺🇸🔥👑🎸🎤🎹🎶⚡️🤟
I see this Elvis previous everywhere on RUclips. Finally I decide to watch it whit your guys. Am not even a Elvis fan. But for some reason I got goosebumps watching it. I got to learn more about Elvis that’s crazy. Peace from Canada. Stay safe.
OMG 😱I can't believe it....That Elvis movie comes out on my Birthday 🎉👏👏😊Heck Yeah I'm going 👍I can't wait 2 C it. TKS 4 sharing.👏👏👍
No doubt the greatest American music artist of all time. I’m 35 and I love that so many people in my generation and younger are excited about this
Elvis will always be alive, always. I am 37, loved him always... Im from Europe. This trailer brought me to tears. People say how it's great this movie shows how much african american gospel singing influenced him and that's great, I would say it like this; Elvis was the best of ALL OF US in his music, nevermind of race, his music doesnt have race, he is everyone of us. Cheers people and great reaction.
My mama and daddy saw him in concert in Vegas 4 times and every time Elvis picked my mama for the famous kiss during the show . Elvis would pick a lucky woman out of the front row , kiss her and hand her a scarf that he wore around his neck. I still have all 4 scarves and you can still smell the stage makeup on them . I also have the guitar pick that Elvis gave my daddy .
Wow! Great story!
Wow... how awesome is that. You have a little bit of Elvis in your home... that's very special indeed. TCB! 👍⚡🆒️🇿🇦
Great review. It's going to be great. The director spent a day at Graceland with Priscilla and then went to Tupelo and spent a day with one of Elvis' black friends who lived in the same neighborhood and talked about music, church and how they grew up. Lot of attention to detail.
I love your guys reaction from the trailer!!!! I’m a Chicano from Los Angeles and we all love Elvis!!!
“Whether you’re black or white, from London, Memphis or Moscow, Elvis Presley will always be the King of Rock and Roll to me”, - Elvis Presley fan from the documentary film ‘This Is Elvis’.
Excited it will get new fans.
Great Reaction Guys. I’m A Huge Elvis Fan saw Him In Concert Twice. No1 Can Look Like Elvis. This Movie Is About His Beginning To His Stardom. I’ll Give This Movie A Shot.
Great reaction guys! Enjoyed that so much. Iv subscribed xxx
A very good movie. Austin Butler was incredible as Elvis. Elvis' widow and daughter loved the movie, so I was excited to see it.
Omg. It looks sooo good. I’ll see it about 10 times I’m sure.
I can’t not wait to see it,so excited
What looks so promising about this motion picture is that Elvis is portrayed as he really was and not a parody and not a cartoon character.Kurt Russell portrayed Elvis in a TV movie in 1979 and it really launched his career. And he said something really interesting from an actors’ point of you; “when you portray the Coca-Cola can, spaceit’s really hard as an actor because there is no room for you. Everybody knows what it supposed look like everybody knows what it already tastes like.No matter what you do it’s never good enough”In many ways Elvis is the Coca-Cola can.
Great reaction !!!!
Going!
Your excitement is contagious. I hope people who know nothing about Elvis, only his caricature, will share that excitement after seeing this trailer and later the movie. Elvis really deserves global respect and knowledge as a musician and human being.
Awesome. Canada. Can not wait.
I’m doing like y’all! Going to the actual theater, in MY Elvis shirt, and with popcorn 🍿 can’t wait!
Muhammad Ali said of Elvis" He was the greatest". Absolutely 1000% correct
Oh my goodness I am so excited for this movie I hope they tell Elvis's real story he was phenomenal , still is in my eyes .He deserves this so much finally!!!
I going!
@DeeandNish- Guys I can't wait until this Elvis movie comes out and I will also be going to see it in the theatre. It looks like its going to be really good.
Amazing reaction guys!!
This movie is going to be amazing. It's almost 3 HOURS long!!!!!!!!😍😍😍😍😍
We need to FLOOD this movie in the theatres All around the world !!!!!
Man that looks good I can't wait to see it I love your reaction
Powerful --so emotional --the film looks fantastic, I cannot wait to see the movie.
I'm gonna be tail gateing at the movie parking lot all night. Be first in line. Playing Elvis songs.TX
Definitely have plans to see this. I was a few weeks shy of 6 when he passed. Vaguely remember news coverage of his funeral. I have been to Graceland. Kinda spooky in that I could almost sense his presence, especially in the jungle room.
You need to watch Baz Luhrmann interviews sam bell. Elvis presley childhood black best friend
I’m a huge elvis fan so I’ll be there
Goosebumps down the spine
Got to see this thanks
Watching this gave me chills. I can't wait to see the movie.
I will be going to the movies too can't wait.👏
I’ll meet you there! I’ve can’t believe I cried to this!! I’ll probably be inconsolable for the movie♥️😭😂
The trailer looks promising. I just hope the movie does justice to Elvis the person and doesn't harp on all the unimportant stuff. He is a legend who changed the course of music. Great reaction. Thank you. 👍
The King!
It'll be interesting to see how this compares to "Bohemian Rhapsody". I plan on seeing it.
So witch one was better ?
Just the best ever
What is the soul of a man I hope we see it.
i cant wait
God gave elvis talent no one today can match him
You Both make Beautiful Couple 🥰🥰
Movie was Excellent!!
yessss this looks like a good movie im trying go see too
I can't wait!!!
Great reaction
Loved your reaction. New sub.
Great reaction!! BTW... Austin Butler (Elvis) Really does all the singing in this movie... Sounds amazing to me!!
No he doesn't. He does the earlier stuff apparently and then the later stuff will be Elvis or a mixture of both? We'll have to wait and see but Elvis's actual voice will be used.
"Before Elvis there was nothing. After Elvis, nothing was the same".
love the reaction. I got goosebumps just watching the trailer so can't wait to see the movie. You should check out the video of the director of the movie baz luhrmann interviewing Elvis' close friend from his younger years Sam Bell (before Sam passed away) in order to learn the truth when preparing for this movie.
Sub’d off the intro alone 😂😂 I’m gonna have a blast!
Eu também gostei muito, acho que vai ser um filme muito bom
TCBY? Wasn’t that a yogurt shop? TCB: Taking Care of Business. Thanks for the positive review of the ELVIS trailer.
It's not a documentary. It's a biopic. Austin Butler did a phenomenal job. Priscilla ND Lisa Marie both support the movie. Lisa Marie especially supports Austin
Thank you
Going to the movies: ad said exclusively in theaters so let’s get our gear on🌹🤠
I just discovered your channel and I think you're awesome I love your reaction I'm the same way I've been in love with Elvis since I was a little bitty girl and through RUclips I've learned even more before you watch the movie if you haven't done a reaction to it already you need to do Elvis Presley in the black community part 1 and part 2 and it'll give you even more in depth of what you're going to see in that movie
I'm not sure about Elvis having to sneak into a Black moving church in the movie. His local church was a mainly black church, but it was mixed and he was one of the main singers in it. The movie seems to be making it as if this was a one off and he didn't grow up in a mixed area
Watch Elvis and the black community short doc on RUclips
More elvis
I'll be there 1st day
He didn't always have to sneak in. According to his friend Sam Bell, Elvis's family lived in a part of Tupelo where his and one other family were about the only white families. He attended black churches but as his family moved so many times he would've attended many different ones. There was an element of sneaking though due to segregation laws and Bell talks about them going into theatres together and Elvis would have to go through the white entrance but instead of sitting in the white seating he'd sneak over to the black part. They were just kids/friends and segregation wouldn't have made sense to them. In his teem years he would sneak into blues/gospel clubs as he was under age and probably at times due to his colour. Him sneaking into that revival tent might be not be literally what happened but it references the realities of segregation and how life was and shows how Elvis soaked up all of his influences x
Ooh. Emm. Gee.. That mariah intro remix is hooooott!! Is there a full version of it? Lol..
Not sure as the writer will put in a lot of stuff but will know more how it is after seeing.
For some reason what I really want to know is if they'll mention Jesse, his stillborn twin brother. Some say (though they may have been making it up) that they heard Elvis 'talking' to Jesse at night and that he believed he could hear his twins voice.
🔥🔥
Ya'll got me hyped! Can't wait and hope they did this right. Not a fan of Austin Butler in the role but I'm sure they tried out multiple people. 🎶🙏🤙
Can't wait to see the real story of the real Elvis Presley
day1
Elvis did not have to sneak into the big tent revival this was strictly for this Hollywood movie for dramatic effect. Neighborhood Tupelo Mississippi He learned to sing as an avid church goer with his mother in the black pentecostal church of Tupelo Mississippi all Mississippi and continued in Memphis Tennessee when they moved up there grew up on black gospel music gospel quartets and that's where he got his soul singing in the church
it took an Australian to make an American movie about Elvis to make it right
Sadly they got a lot of things wrong with this. The true fans will know. Elvis never rode the Ferris wheel with Parker for one. Maybe one day they'll tell the real story of the KING.
They ain't ever seen a white boy move like that before Elvis lol!
I go to Dollar Tree and get drink and snacks...I can then cry into the bottle by the end...This movie may traumatize me...
Oh yes I am going, I hope they show the relationship between the colonel Parker and Elvis the most the colonel was good for Elvis in the beginning but became the worst thing for Elvis at the end it dawned on me do you realize Elvis never tour outside of America and yet he's so over 150 million albums and is worldwide famous but never tour oversee at all and that was due to the colonel that's what I'm hoping to see thank you for your reaction
When things get to difficult to say, sing
I still feel that Lana Del Rey should have played Priscilla. But 🤷🏽♂️ it is what it is
Edit
Also funny how Tom Hanks learned Elvis how to dance in Forest Gump. Now he plays Elvis's manager 🕺
right off the bat there was a lot of misleading scenes.. Parker never talked with an accent, Parker and Elvis never ever met at a carnival... there was never a Ferris wheel ride.. parts seem to be made up ( artistic Licence) and other parts seems to be very exaggerated... you can watch the searcher one and two and find all you need to know about Elvis and his relationship with the black community and Church while he lived in Tupelo... and that is coming from the Source!!! so I am on the fence, a few of these movies have been made and none every live up to who Elvis really was
