The series also builds book after book. Many returning characters and new ones. Saucerhead Tharpe and such. The city's pop is mostly human and non humans are looked down upon. Fantasy racism if you will. The nest of pixies that plague Garrett's stoop. Cook's writing varies from dark fantasy to sci Fi, but Garrett is basically humor driven whodunnit. A good read.
One of the best fantasy books series really was able to touch me emotionally and made me care about the characters.
It's the only book series I have. Great fun.
Love the series, I was hooked from the start of this book
Same here

I always thought it as Log-eer, but maybe the "gh" is like in laugh, so it's more like a cross between "laugher" and "loafer"
That is an interesting thought.
Laugh out Loud at times.
