Before the “Halloween update” and later Wrath of the Lamb dlc for it. During his recent interview with Edmund, (the developer who co-created the Issac games) they spoke about how the game that Ed didn’t think would be a success also super catapulted the RUclips career of NL who picked up the game and uploaded his runs on YT back in 2011. Going on to reflect how that led to both men being forever linked with Isaac. I would highly recommend watching a few of his original Isaac videos (if you have patience his first few are hilarious, and in a video he made years late reviewed his performance and laughed hard at himself.) The Wrath of the Lamb video playlist of his is also great and is where many people started with his channel. Example: back when Wrath came out, spiders were totally new and seeing his reactions to them and his repeated failures to dodge their attack patterns is fun!

My son is turning 14 literally in two weeks and I know this is said over and over again but watching your children grow-it feels like it happens in the blink of an eye. @@femdomsHMU tried one on normal this morning and it also seems pretty hard. A lot of the S Tier items seemed to get nerfed. Think the nail only gives half a black heart. Dark bum drops a lot of other things. I even got guppy and deaths's touch and still managed to lose a run, just because the enemies from womb on are brutal with the shot speed increase :-/ not sure if I do like the upgrade. Just imagine just have to do all the really hard achievements in this setup oO
Jokes aside I really love both soundtracks, at first I wasn't huge on Ridiculion but they hit it out of the park with Repentance. I'll probably switch between both soundtracks once Mesmorim releases the music pack mod.
@@shippouma121 you can now hold different active items with the book of virtue, and the fires spawned do different things depending on what active item is used. Bethany is can’t have spirit or black hearts though
one small change I wish they'd have made is to update the mini map in real time so if you pick up a bomb in a room it no longer displays a bomb symbol in that room tile
