When you are one of the GOATs in one area, it makes sense for other areas to be overlooked. Happy that that didn't discouraged him from making some HEAT on the MPC
Depends. Sometimes just resampling to the right pitch will adjust the size perfectly. But other times is not as straight forward. Like if they stretched it without changing pitch, I have to try to match it by waveform, or trial and error
If you use reason you can use the splicer mode with Mimic to get different stems and then play them with your midi. You can even set your own stems in the transcription window if you want.
I dont hear people talking about DOOMs production enough, really underrated as a producer
He is unique af.
You can see that he wasn't as technical as full time producers, but he had the vision and the skill for suuuure!

By far my favorite beat off Take Me to Your Leader I can listen to this for hour's
stating the obvious here but doom was mad underrated as a beatmaker. had one of the best ears for dope samples
