      No worries. I find it can be handy although I biked around Dartmoor bridle ways and paths the other day and ended up using an actual map, OS maps and cycle route 27 as Beeline was taking me all over the place. But I think it copes well generally for cycling around towns and cities and in the countryside.

    Bro, your videos are so incredibly good! I discoverd your channel like 2 months ago, when I was reserching about bikepacking with my new Brompton. Since then, I've watch all your videos, and I'll keep coming for your new adventures haha. Keep it up, man, great job!

      Thanks for watching! Which Brompton did you get? What are your ideas for a bikepacking trip with it? I’m posting a video of all gear soon as some people have asked

      @@darinsadventurechronicles Hiya! I got a C-line 6 speeds and added a few accessories to it, like rear rack, ez wheels, bag, etc. My intention is to start slow (long trails) and eventually go camping. I think your first video is kinda what I'm going to try first. Something not so far from London, spend the night and then return. Maybe not preparing my own food at first haha
      The video you mentioned will be very useful, thanks for sharing it :)

    What a gorgeous campsite. Long ride though. I'm not sure I could do that far with camping gear!

      Nice pubs to stop at along the way. It’s just that one big hill. Plus another one or two not as big ones!

      lol I did not know that. Tbh most cycling shorts I try prevent saddle pain but then it causes chafing!

    Sudocrem is your friend for saddle sores, get the 125g tub (£5.50) as it’s better value than the 30g tube (£4.20) variant.

      Haha yes I have a tub of sudocrem which is great. But never thought to take with on a bikepacking trip. I think I’ll have to next time.

    What size front chain ring do you have on your Brompton?
    What are the handle bars you have on your bike? I like the cross bar increasing the real estate to mount devices more easily.

    • @darinsadventurechronicles
      @darinsadventurechronicles  5 месяцев назад

      Hello, I’m not sure tbh it’s the normal one that came with the bike (c line explore) I will double check and let you know! What about you? It’s the M type mid handle bars I went for. If there’s something I can do to make hills a bit easier with all my gear packed I may look into it.
      It’s the mid handle bar. I tested out the different ones and I just preferred it.
      Yes the handle bar bridge has been a great little addition - very handy for my phone. It’s very light and is made from bioceramic but it does squeak a lot. I don’t mind it though.
