Don’t ever let a doctor insert a Loop Recorder without being given some type of sedation! My doctor inserted mine with only topical lidocaine and it was the most traumatic experience ever! I felt like someone was stabbing me in my heart and it hurt beyond words!!!

I just got mine yesterday, and didn't feel a thing.
