I did not know that the Arabic language is difficult for you, but the English language is also a little difficult for us. I am Arabic and you are teaching them Arabic correctly and wonderful
Excelente I love your class I would like to watch a video about all times we use b before the verb شكرا لك انا تحت امرك في كولومبيا بس بدك تجي لهون بيتي و اهلي صار بيتك
The b is only used in colloquial Arabic. It is used only in present tense. Example: Ana aktob (I write) in standard Arabic becomes Ana baktob in colloquial Arabic.
Thank you, Maha it's a great lesson as usual. In Syria, we use the same verbs in a slightly different way, ddahek we use it only for laughing and mazehh for kidding, 👍
مرحبا يا منار منار ، أنا أتابع دروس اللغة العربية لمها منذ 7 سنوات! أخبرني من فضلك هل هناك فرق بين الأفعال العربية في سوريا والعراق ولبنان مقارنة بالأفعال المنطوقة في تونس أو الجزائر أو المغرب؟
Maha! Can you make a video about how you got perfect in English even though you live in Italy...your learning strategies and these things! Or maybe you made one already?
Enjoyed the subject, but I'm only kidding. Actually, it was good, so thank you Maha. You mentioned in the video that you were going to provide a link for the 'Present Tense' verbs with the prefix 'b' or 'bi' but you haven't done so, Arabic is so complex, it's unreal, you don't have a proper 'infinitive,' and the present tense is complicated by when to add 'Bi' you mentioned about 'I want' in my studies this is 'Ureed' but as you used Baddak or Biddik or Biddi (it's confusing) then you might have used the following verb in present tense with a 'bi' prefix, this happens when you get two verbs together. I know that Arabic also uses 'Verbal Nouns' which can be confusing, I've studied Arabic for years on and off, even attended two courses at College, but it is still a nightmare, Chinese is easier, trust me.
@LearnArabicwithMaha ...assalamu alaikum, ya maha - because i also speak a bit of indonesian and even less of malaysian, i suddenly remembered a word commonly used there which is "dahak"; right now i haven't searched the etymology yet but i suspect it may have come from the arabic language (like many indonesian words) but has changed meaning over hundreds of years so now "dahak" in indonesian actually means اللعاب 🙈🙉🙊
So I'm currently learning the Egyptian dialect of Arabic and I was thinking I could learn the dialect before MSA. But, I keep hearing that you should learn MSA before a dialect. Does anyone have a suggestion?
*Ahlan ya Maha, good lesson, but I notice that @about **14:47** you did not remove the ba-prefix from bamza, so you said "2ana 3am bamza" , but is "2ana 3am maza" also correct? Shukran.*
Usually, you keep the b- for the first verb in the sentence, then drop it for the rest (as long as everything is in present tense). So "I am eating and drinking" انا عم باكل و اشرب It kind of establishes the tense, so you don't have to repeat it. But if you forget to drop it, it won't cause confusion to native speakers so you don't have to worry so much about it.
