I loved seeing all your Christmas finishes, WIPs and want to stitch. I was cleaning my stitching room Friday before the Jingle Ball so I’d have a quiet place to stitch and watch. I couldn’t believe how many Christmas patterns I have. I wish I could stitch for me right now but I’m busy getting ornaments done for 5 kids, 7 grandkids and fifteen great grandkids. Also trying to finish up stitching for an exchange and for gifts for my Thursday night stitch group. Hope you both have a wonderful Christmas filled with love, joy and peace.🎄🪡
Thank you for enabling me to buy some new patterns 💕 I just love watching you guys for your beautiful stitching, but you also remind me of home. I grew up in Massachusetts and moved out west many many moons ago
loved everything you showed How nice to see all your finishes. I stitched mostly all gifts in September, Oct and Nov. Just about to put the last few stitches in the last gift and then I need to finish, I have a great framer at my local Michaels and plan to go see her Monday with 4 to be framed. Now I can stitch all Christmas I have started with 3 SALS, #1 Wee Santa 2023,(Stitchy Friends) all done just need to add the beads and just found my beading needle (it was in something I had kitted), #2 Berries In Bloom (Handmade by SarahW), started on Tues, #3 Snowmagical (Nichol Spohr) plan to work on Week 1 during Jingle Ball. Have you considered doing a SAL Makes me accountable
Happiest of Holidays ladies! 🎄Better late than never - I really enjoyed seeing all your Christmas finishes, charts and WIPS. Lots of fabulous ideas for next year! Thank You. I am working on Oh Christmas Tree by All Through the Night. It is a gorgeous piece. It was my Christmas in 2022 and I was totally thrilled to start it. But, I purchased and used linen for the first time and about went crazy. After three restarts, I put it away. This year, with more experience and new magnifiers, I have made nice progress on it. It is going to be a beautiful piece - LOVE it! 💛 I started Bethlehem by Imagination. It is simple but beautiful and not a hard stitch. I’m very happy with it so far. For the Jingle Ball, I took the Biscornu class with Jeannine from the Blue Flower. Love the pattern and the class was excellent but I have not been able to finish. 😞 I hope to get to that soon. It’s always busier during the holidays than I think it’s going to be. 😂 Happy New Year. Jacque 🐑
.I'm one of those people who watch religiously, but rarely comment. I enjoyed all the Christmas finishes, projects and plans. I didn't do the Jingle Ball this year, for which I am now sorry. Maybe nnext year. I'm the silent type, and when I saw that some of the flosstubers signed up, but stayed mostly silent, I felt better. Am I a hermit? Introvert? Not so much, but I do always have excuses. 🤩 Watch you all the time, in the midst of trying to finish Christmas gifts, teaching my granddaughter to stitch, and line up 80 starts in 2024 for my 80th birthday in April. Yes, I am a bit crazy, but I think it can be done. I'm retired, so I can just stitch until my fingers fall off. Ot until the ortho surgeon decides that it's time for hand surgery -- and that's not going to happen unless my left hand decides to fall off. 🤪Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you both and your families.
Wow! Good for you with 80 starts and happy birthday! Please do join the Jingle Ball next year. Many people were happy to sit in stitching rooms and enjoy the company while quietly stitching.
Thank you both for enabling me, and for the reminder of how many of the same patterns I have in my stash, some of which are kitted!! Too bad I don’t have a magic wand to turn back the clock about 20 years!! I am kind of a slow stitcher, and feel like I’ll never get everything I want stitched done so that I am able to have cute little vignettes to display! Looking forward to the Jingle Ball and hope to see you!!
' O Christmas Tree' - I think Jane of Stitching with Jane & Julie either recently finished it or was almost finished. Christmas - a time of so much wonder!
I got a chuckle out of “pref” orated paper! At least you knew you were joking. An employee asked me how to spell a word one day. He couldn’t find “pres” peration in the dictionary. Thanks for leading me down memory lane.
I am a seasonal stitcher so when I finish a pattern I am anxious to FFO it to show off my hard work that I’m proud of. I do have a lot of WIP’s but I don’t have and finishes that are not FFO’d. Yes you guys need to set aside a couple of days for finishing then FFO as you finish a project.
Wonderful video!! Thank you for sharing all of your beautiful Christmas stitching and finishes!! Enjoyed seeing all the Christmas charts you both have in your stash. 🎄💕
Hi Ladies lots of beautiful Christmas Things,I am currently stitching O Christmas Tree and am finding it tough going,as the pattern is up down and sideways,my brain doesn’t do well with this sought of stitching, but will eventually be a beautiful finish,it will be interesting to see what you think.have a good week Thankyou for sharing 🎄🇳🇿❤️🪡
Yes male deer lose their antlers in The winter Dec to Mar. and new ones grow back in the spring and keep growing till Nov or cold weather. THen it starts all over again. Male deer"BUCK" Female deer "DOE" Loved your parade of all you stitching. Female deer do not grow any horns.
My daughter in law did sunflower snowman for me for Christmas one year. Its Gorgeous!!! She’s not a cross stitcher either. She knows I like snowmen so it was sweet of her to do it. She said thank goodness it doesn’t talk because there were a lot of bad words. 🤣🤣
Awesome ladies!! Cant wait to see your finishing on Bethlehem. I have it completed and am struggling with finishing ideas. Hope to chat with you guys at the Jingle Ball! ❤
I love watching you two, Kathy and Missy 💖💖 I always feel like I'm sitting across the table from my friends, and it reminds me of my own sister-in-law (who is married to my brother) and myself. We have been BFFs for 50 years!!
So many great pieces you both have done. I would love to find the penguin pattern to add to my collection. Enjoy your ffo day. I can’t wait to see more of your finished pieces. Happy stitching ❤❤
Love this show!! You were so right about needing pen & paper, Oh boy I'm in trouble now!! So many pretties. Just one quick question you might can help me with, My first Jingle Ball & I didn't know if people can see you if I need full face on?? Don't want to scare anyone if I'm stitching in robe & no makeup!! Really , Don't laugh to hard, Old lady question. Still debating if I should turn on computer just don't know how this all works. i love all your Christmas stitches! I just finished the Wintertime stitch by Sue Hillis and have it displayed in my Gingerbread themed Christmas Kitchen along with a couple others in her series. But I noticed that you didn't stitch the long stitch on the pine needles...was that on purpose or did you forget? They really make the piece pop! Just wanted to check before you finish!
Missy you mentioned that you did the Christmas Quaker freebie with DMC. Did you use a conversion chart from Aurifloss to DMC? I’ve looked online, but haven’t found a chart. Thanks! 🪡🧵🪡
What a wonderful video! Just what I don’t need is more ideas and plans! Missy, what pattern did you use on your sled? I ordered 2 sleds & got the medium size rather than the small one so need ides for them. Thanks much!
I love your videos. Thank you for this one very inspiring. Question on Chicken Joy. What kind of Styrofoam did you use? The regular white or green or plant styrofoam .
Hi Ladies, I was hoping you could help me out. I believe that in one of your flosstube episodes Missy had showed the "Hello from Liz Matthews" Jingle Ball tree design. Could you tell me what floss you used to the plaid design on the bottom of the piece?
Hi....I enjoyed you ladies in todayñs video. .....it was the first time and I truly enjoyed seeing all your FFO´s. Thank you for sharing another wonderful flosstube. Great finishes and stitching.
Missy, I think that Sue Hollis would be so cute finished on a small cookie sheet, and then it could just lean on the counter.
Ohhh. Good idea.
Yes, Jingle Ball, hope to see you😊. So enjoyed the showing. Peace be with you both 🦋
Awesome ladies!! Cant wait to see your finishing on Bethlehem. I have it completed and am struggling with finishing ideas. Hope to chat with you guys at the Jingle Ball! ❤
