The 1970’s were the best era of the NYC Subway, so much rolling stock diversity!
I agree. So many different types of subway car all at once
Great video of the 23rd Street station over the eras!
Thank you for helping out with the video!
@@adammars1438 I’m glad. Also, I’ve sent something that you’ll like
Nice! What's the first train that runs on tbe express tracks at the very beginning?I don't recognize the type.It has a very different angled front face.
That type of subway car is known as the R40 Slants. My all time favorite B Division subway car.
@@adammars1438 Thanks ! I think I've never seen it before. It's very distinctive.Greetings from Paris.
@@KyrilPG They were retired in 2009. Very unique subway cars that had a design not repeated again. Greetings from NYC 🙌
@@adammars1438 Oh 2009? I never had a chance to spot them during my numerous visits across the pond.Which lines where they running on?
@@KyrilPG they ran mostly on the A by the time they were retired. But during active service they also ran on the B, C, W, L, N and Q.
My favorite part of this video is 1972. When all the different types of subway cars used on A, CC and E trains.
What are the next videos?
We have your request (Broadway 2009) and then a herald square video and after that Queensboro plaza 2008
