Hi!:) How are you guys? Recently, I prepared for the performance with “V. Monti - Czardas”. Italian composer Vittorio Monti composed this piece based on a Hungarian csárdás (traditional Hungarian folk dance). Thank you so much!:) I think that lots of people know the melody. I hope that you guys like this performance!! Have a nice day!
Stay safe legend!
I used to play that, clarnit
Thanks for playing💘:)
Very nice
I love your playing!!
Dang hearing this on piano really hits home how Liszt also used "Hungarian" folk tunes in his Hungarian Rhapsodies. Wonderful playing as always!
Liszt was Hungarian, that's why he used Hungarian folk tunes

You're legendary aswell
When I was in HS this was my very favorite recital piece I ever played. When I was a wee violinist I told my teacher this was my favorite piece and he said someday maybe I could play it. WHen he finally pulled it out for me to play I was ecstatic. Almost a full year of practice to nail the fast bit.
if i were to play violin it would take me 5 years to learn the first few notes of the fast bit, also when i tried to play violin it took me a few months to learn how to hold the violin and the bow
WOW!!
Thank you for the second comment, Moises!:)💕
You can play sometime play Transcendental Étude No. 12 (Chasse-neige),Transcendental Étude No. 11 (Harmonies du soir) and Transcendental Étude No. 10 (Appassionata) by Franz Liszt
Appassionata is my favourite Liszt piece!
I will play some Liszt's Etudes at the specific point. Thank you!!💕
@@adamlodge491 Beethoven Laughing, Sitting at the Back.
@@Kassiapiano And you can also please play Liszt's transcendental etudes as emotionally as Chopin
@@namanaroraXVI It seems to me that if Beethoven had not admired the 1851 version, he would have liked it at least
I'm hungarian and used to learn our folk dances, but I can't dance csárdás with this in the back.. Still a beautiful piece, beautifully performed, well done!
KASSIA- BY FAR MY MOST FAVORITE PIANO TUNE . YOU ARE OUTSTANDING !!!!!!!! IS IT POSSIBLE TO EVER SEE YOUR PICTURE. WILLIAM.
It was a song that fell in love with the fast technique of the violin when the violin and the piano were together! You expressed it so wonderfully and beautifully with the piano, I enjoyed it for 4 minutes!! I've been waiting so long!! I've been waiting for "Kassia" to upload a song, but thank you so much for playing such a good song!!!
Correction: piece*
Thank you so much for your words!:)💕
It's a piece not a song.

Absolutely wonderful, I’ve never actually heard this melody being played on the piano and this was an amazing introduction:)

I've had this stuck in my head off and on for weeks. The way you simulate violin harmonics is absolutely amazing!
The fact that both the italian and the hungarian flag have the colors green, white and red makes this even better!!
I'm learning this piece on violin and what happiness that one of my favourite piano RUclipsrs uploaded it♥️
i use to play this with the accordion 🥲
Mi favorita, mi alma se regocija de emoción, bella interpretación de un ser prodigioso, saludos de una Peruana desde Japón🙏🌾🌹🌹💕💕💕💕❤️

Thank you for providing these performances for free on youtube, you have introduced me to music that I never would have listened to and enjoyed without your beautiful performances.
For 13 years of my life, I was calling this piece “cuzardus”
R.I.P But may I ask how you are pronouncing it now? Just curious
@@m0ment219 kinda like “cshárdás”

It's amazing that you can play such difficult pieces so fast without mistakes.
Oh my god, Kassia, this is another one of my favorite pieces! Thank you so much for making this. You played so well that I’m in tears. This is so beautiful.

One of my favorite recital pieces. Such a good choice.
Your piano skills are world class.
Imagine... before internet... before radio... before the printing press... sheet music ruled the day... to get your hands on a piece like this... then spend hours trying to play it correctly just so you can enjoy the latest hit...
Nothing better than seeing a Kassia notification pop up.
Such a brilliant piece. I'm sorry for people who skiped it because of first part. I think that we should listen full pieces because composers wrote them complicated
The slow sections and fast sections are supposed to constrast eaxh other

The visuals are absolutely stunning, that of course correlating with the performance! Thanks for making my day :)
I played this back in the late 90s on Alto sax for Solo Ensemble in Detroit, got me a blue medal, couldnt ask me to do it today, but amazing energy on this performance. Brought back memories.
As a Hungarian i'm very happy for this video!

"Csárdás" (or "Czardas") is a rhapsodical concert piece by the Italian composer Vittorio Monti. Written in 1904, the folkloric piece is based on a Hungarian csárdás. It was originally composed for violin, mandolin, or piano.
One of my favorite pieces. Thank you for playing this one Kassia.
