It took me 1 second to realize that the answer is no because they lack lead popping power in btd 2 and 3, and lack camo detection in btd 4, 5 and 6 so the answer is that it's only btd1 which is barely beatable with only tack shooters. (All of this is of course if we are talking only tack shooters, so no road items, monkey beacon/village or bomb tower to help with lead bloons in btd2).
BTD1 tip: Don't go into unnecessary debt setting up the hypersonic tack shooter. The attack speed maxes out at "hypersonic speed" (after four upgrades) and the range upgrade doesn't stack at all despite what the statistic shows you. You only need 1400 money for a tower stronger than Super Monkey (not counting range because it's not needed to beat the game)
Oh I thought that it meant the tower ENTIRELY. My mistake. What I though was the tack tower was the worst in each game. Sorry about that. But yeah I see the point now, the tack tower is a BAD tower in BTD1.
Powers in BTD6 exist as a form of pay-to-win. They want you to use up your supply so that you need to spend real money on microtransactions for more. The gameplay isn't actually balanced around them, and using them subverts the challenge of the game itself. You may as well just mod the game to cheat for free at that point.
Ring of fire in my opinion is arguably a downgrade because you can't do extra damage to moabs (tack sprayer can hit multiple times) and for all that money you still can barely handle white bloons

In the early games it's an unbalanced trash tower. In the modern games it's a good DPS option

Tack in BTD1 is probably the worst tower in the series. Expensive, comically unreliable, and outclassed by Dart and Bomb in almost every way.

Personally for this challenge, I'd have used Camo Trap in BTD6 and Meerkay Spy in BTD5. Offers no additional perks other than detecting camps.
Would still count as a loss imo. They didn't beat it alone. You can only do bt1 in theory with tack shooters only
