  • Team Hoyt is the inspiring and unbelievable story of a father, Dick Hoyt, who pushes his son, Rick Hoyt, in his wheelchair in marathons across the country.
They have participated in over 1000 endurance events, and were awarded the Jimmy V Perseverance Award at the 2013 ESPY's today.
    This is their story.

For once ESPN have done something right. Well deserved and I only hope that I could be half the man that Rick Hoyt was. What a father.

Yes I knew they were getting this award. I saw it the other morning when waking up with a case of pancreatitis. Was trying to see a better picture. I have followed them, met them last year. A great father and son. Nobody deserves it better.

Anytime I'm feeling a little down in the mouth. I watch a Team Hoyt or Jennifer Bricker video and feel spiritually refreshed. I've shown my grandson some of these videos to show him what REAL men were.

Ironic that those awards mostly highlight very talented, but selfish athletes that love being idolized. Then here the Hoyt's come on to receive an award that is the complete antithesis of selfishness. I hope guys like LeBron are humbled by true greatness, because that is exactly what the Hoyt's are. Well deserving to say the least!

Jesus Christ loves everyone.Repent of all sin and turn to Him.He is real and wants to be apart of your lives. He died.so that we may inherit eternal life. There is much more to life than the things this world promotes,we can be filled with the things more valuable than this world can offer if we trust in Christ. These things will not pasd away one day like money or fameGod bless : )
