  • Our 2019 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon started having issues with the driver’s side door lock not working on the door panel. The issue ended up being in the quick disconnect wiring harness down by the kick panel. See what the issue was and how to easily fix it.

    Thank you so much.
You helped me save some money and the unpleasant conversation with some arrogant, condescending tech people.
They were ready to take my money but difficult to troubleshoot problems cover on the warranty. Jeep gladiator 2020.
This problem didn't let me remote start the car or lock the door with the passenger control panel.
    Thank you again.

Really glad this helped you out. I was stumped too and I hate having to deal with the service techs.

the lock on my drivers door 2019 JL quit working a few months ago. I have NEVER had the doors off or unplugged that harness, but I'll go ahead and check it anyway.

I guess it’s possible it could be corroded 🤷‍♂️

Similar issue here but my passive door unlock handle isn’t working. I checked my pins on the hook up and they don’t seem to be bent or anything

I’ve had one more issue since this where at first glance, none of my pins looked bent, but when I pulled it off and check again, one was just a little bent and I had to straighten it.

@@PeterDiBussolo yes, it did on mine. Early on, I never had this problem. As much as I take my doors off, I’ve started having issues the last year or so.
