@@TheCvac the amount of throttle you have to give all depends on the power to weight, gearing of the bike, and how good you are at catching it with the rear brake. There's no definitive amount of throttle you can prescribe someone as every bike is different along with everyone's skill level. Best advice is start small and work your way up till the front end starts coming up closer to balance point.

Is a clutch up essentially rev matching without shifting? Would the amount of throttle you give it be comparable to a downshift rev match ?

no you only blip the throttle afterwards and same with the back break you need to tap the back break to bring you back down and to not over wheelie
