Confused viewers. All you need is 00:42 and 01:55.
Just manually copy the line of code presented at 1:55 and then cut and paste your video code from 00:42.
lol, thanks
I skipped to there and the video was a browser window of a youtube page of a video of a wordpress post and I was like "I don't even know where to begin here."
Thank You! I use the code in my mail chimp emails now to add a youtube player. Very helpful!
Worked great for me. Thank you!

Thanks SO much for this tutorial! Mail Chimp's wasn't as explicit! :)
I had originally checked the auto-convert box in setup so that I can add a You Tube video in the campaign. In the block that I am using, when I click on merge tags, there isn't a You Tube option. I am still getting used to mailchimp, is there something that I'm missing?
You could have stuck the copy paste code into the video description.,
True
very helpful thank you
Thanks for this.
Life saver!
Can we add multiple videos in the same textbox? I am trying it but only the first video works and rest are shown as Invalid URL.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks!
How to add mp4 into MailChimp Newsletter?
Have you been able to figure out how to center a video that has been placed in an email with a video merge tag? It defaults to left justified and since it's text, centering it doesn't change the video screen shot orientation. Let me know if you have any tips. Thanks.
Jason same issue here. I made 2 columns in the section & used one of the options where one side was larger than the other. I posted the vid on the large side and it came out looking pretty good. - just my 2 cents
If you enter before the embed code, it should center it. Good luck!
Not sure why you'd want to feature a screen shot of your video when the ability now exists to include native video within your email and reach 95% of all recipients, only problem email clients are Outlook users, who get the fallback screenshot. By including your video within your email you'll enjoy click rate uplifts in the region of 100-200% vs the screen shot approach. A platform launched by www.playable.video enables you to create a snippet of your video for use within your email campaign, to be sent by your preferred ESP, be it Mailchimp or one of the others.
i think you must've skipped something??? Where did that content box come from? Is it a text contect box? Where did the rest of the code from from that is already there when you open the screen? Sorry, this wasn't helpful to me at all.
