I'm really looking forward to a season 3, I have rewatched the entire anime from Horimiya ep 1 to Horimiya Pieces Ep 13. There's something just so unique about horimiya like how the main characters doesn't take a whole season to confess to eachother, Really hope there's gonna be a S3 that's maybe centered around different people and not just miyamura and hori
The manga ended at season 1's ending. The "second" season was a season that ONLY covered parts that were in the manga but didn't make it to the first season. There is no season 3, please check more than zero sources of information before making claims.
Well, as you can see I have said that if they want to release season 3 they have to make new chapters or a new story with a new plot. And I have also said the manga ended but we can hope for an OVA atleast.

They had to pick between sending out the full story or getting the key points across with the idea that they might not be able to make a season 2, a common thing that happens in the anime industry. My guess is that they made enough revenue from season 1 that season 2 was more of a heartful project to fill in the blanks of what was missing from the manga. But at the end of the day, we still got a serialization of Horimiya so win-win right?

Season two really isn’t based on anyone, probably why i like it less, but it’s mostly short stories to fill in (horimiya) The Missing Pieces

Well for me horimoya ended for good it was perfect slice of life . i personally think horimiya missing pieces or any 3 rd season is needed.
