I guess this is an unpopular opinion but crumble is S tier to me, especially really dry crumble. It makes cold starts so easy when I can take a little pinch of the stuff that's broken up and sprinkle it on the banger or break off a little chunk of one of the bigger pieces. No tool needed and it falls right to the bottom of the banger.
I would believe that you're having such good results with crumble. because you have good consciousness and control of your heat?. I think most people can't be satisfied with such a tiny amount of chumble and I think most of those dissatisfactions are because of too much heat for that small of an amount of concentrate for it to vape appropriately.
My dispensary has a line of kief that is absolutely awesome. Easy handling, good at room temp, can be easily smoked alone, or on top of flower. Light green trichomes, full terpene experience. Smells great in the jar. Usually $30/ gm - on sale at $17.50

crumble ive been getting in Michigan you could turn the container upside down and everything would dump out, not stick at all, no residual left over (provided you arent dabbing it from the container itself). The "increasing quality when you put them together", is something called an entourage effect. Heavily a preference thing. 6:57 thats also a preference thing.
Crumble is king for rolling into joints because it doesnt stick to the paper or clump up and restrict airflow. Can pick it up with your fingers without needing to chill it as well. As much as i wish i could use bubble hash instead, my local shop sells a .1G for 10 bucks.
The only reason I really like crumble is it’s super easy to sprinkle some into things lol I like to put a little on top of a bowl or what not taste good and adds a little extra something lol
I love love my solventless full melt shatter from bubble hash, my own fresh grow. If I don’t keep it in the fridge, it melts into waxy rosin. I just put it back into the cold and fracture it again! Lovely stuff. Nice video, thanks!

i love shatter. i like to get it into a ball and keep in a silicone container. grab it with my fingers so it gets a little warmed up, then pull off whatever i want to dab. it almost never sticks to my fingers and i can break off exactly what i want.
Shatter is actually S tier, you can even make it from hash rosin if you know what you are doing…also pull and snap shatter is worthy of its own category, cuz I get what you mean about brittle and tasteless shatter

I always have trouble with TS. I'm torching at 540 to 560 am I doing something wrong when it comes to terp sauce? Plus, I always leave like a burned spot of my banger every time I try and cold start. Any suggestions would be great
@@Mikein203 I’m not sure how to help you with a genuine torch banger, I have two e-rigs and those are all I really know how to use. I heat to 525 with my cold starts but I hit it while it heats up because I don’t have to torch. Sorry I’m not able to help more.
@BigHam My friends and I use terp pearls to as a way to get hard to work with concentrates off our tools as you can put it above the sauce and when it heats up the pearl will pull the extract off the tool with it!
I never loved shatter but I used to enjoy it on the occasion, dropping a piece in your bowl is just so easy when your shatter is breakable. Once I got a hot knife those days died lmaoo.

I got my med card back in 2016 here in Michigan and I remember getting into dabs and used to buy crap looking shatter then got into budder and crumble more lol the prices have changed dramatically over the years. Back about a year ago I started going to recreational dispensary’s that finally opened up and recently live Rosin has gotten a lot cheaper. Probably my favorite stuff up there with live resin, budder, sauce/sugar. I’m usually going with rosin or sauce/sugar. I absolutely love how easy they are to handle. Back then I sometimes with shatter would somehow make a huge fckn mess and it would annoy the hell outta me lol stuff is sticky if it isn’t cold and is a pain in the ass if you get it anywhere.
Just got a rosin press and the back and forth between S and A tier was brutal 🤣 I'd give it S tier because anyone can safely make it st home and it's 10x better than shatter
If the distillate is made with the whole lab setup with the terpines added to it, it's really good. I used to like it a lot but realized it isn't a good consistency for dabbing. You were spot on with this list. Butter has to be the best. You can get the perfect amount on a pick and it usually tastes the best and the high is always impacting.
@@Zeromaus not really. You can get certain terps that add benefits to the dabs. One little bottle of terps can last a very long time depending on how much distillate you want to use it for. People usually add the terps to individual carts if it's homegrowers making them
I only mess with live resin carts and distillate carts with terpenes added, no dabs. Partly because I'm just an old school flower guy, partly due to the expense. I just like concentrate vapes for how discreet they are. I much prefer the live resin carts, but they never seem to last as long as the distillate carts for some reason.

I like shatter because normally I don’t keep my dabs in a fridge so they will be a little warmer and sometimes I even put them in a silicon puck and throw it somewhere warm for a couple mins to make it gooey and easier to handle or just put gloves on and shatter it with your finger to a desired size, idk that’s just my preference I like shatter and rosins/badders most
Honeycomb wax is my favorite. Its the one I have gotten the most flavor from . Even more than live resin sauce and diamonds. My best bho run ended up beimg honeycomb wax as well. The honeycomb wax ive had was the same greasy/moisture as sugarwax, but held its shape.
if you have really proper taffy-like shatter I'd say it's easily one of the best consistency, just have it on a solid piece of parchment, not the flimsy ones and heat up dabbers before cutting/pulling away a dab, works really clean as softer stable shatter will not snap and fly around like the glassy ones do and from my personal experiences they are better in potency and flavors too. The next thing I'd say would be some really good fse and then the best would be some good lhr freshly pressed.
shatter is literally the best and taste amazing next to some nice sauce, all you need to do is work the parchment in your hands to warm it a little and you can make nice little dab balls and just drop em in keep em in a container in a cool area
Live rosin in S tier just pressing cured nugs that aren't whole plant fresh frozen is more B+ is easy to squeeze a nug on g/f curling iron. But 6 star and live rosin takes an extract artist in a cold environment.
Oh yeah, also wanted to say that solvent less Live Rosin comes in several different forms. At one dispensary they have 4 different types of solventless live rosin to choose from. 1. Fresh Pressed 2. Bladder 3. Bubble Hash 4. Jam There's also solventless Thca powder. There may be more, this is what's available in my area. That's only solventless live rosin. Then we have the Solvent Extracted Live Resin concentrates. We have 1. Budder 2.Sauce 3. Sugar 4. Crushed Diamonds. Then at other dispensaries you have what I call the lower end basic concentrates, solvent extracted. Wax, Crumble, Shatter, Terp sauce, and Distillate. With distillate being the lowest quality, but highest thc content of all the concentrates.
First time I had rso my friend just told me it was wax and traded it for 2g of bud. Threw it away after ruining a dab straw. Realized months later when I bought rso from the dispensary.
Not sure about the RSO you've had, but mine is smooth, you just have to decarb it at about 150c and then it's clean and stable enough to dab. It's consistancy is like shatter from the fridge.
Is the issue with shatter the consistency/stickiness? I just got my first batch of shatter, and I'm super pleased. Didn't really have an issue with it getting stuck anywhere yet... *fingers crossed* lol

Strain specific distillate (with just its own terps added back in) can be absolutely delicious in a rig.

shatter is literally the best and taste amazing next to some nice sauce, all you need to do is work the parchment in your hands to warm it a little and you can make nice little dab balls and just drop em in keep em in a container in a cool area

Live rosin in S tier just pressing cured nugs that aren't whole plant fresh frozen is more B+ is easy to squeeze a nug on g/f curling iron. But 6 star and live rosin takes an extract artist in a cold environment.
At the end of my crumble, I like to use a sticky wax or sauce on my hot knife to mop up the little bits

Oh yeah, also wanted to say that solvent less Live Rosin comes in several different forms. At one dispensary they have 4 different types of solventless live rosin to choose from. 1. Fresh Pressed
2. Bladder 3. Bubble Hash 4. Jam There's also solventless Thca powder.
There may be more, this is what's available in my area. That's only solventless live rosin. Then we have the Solvent Extracted Live Resin concentrates. We have 1. Budder 2.Sauce 3. Sugar 4. Crushed Diamonds.
Then at other dispensaries you have what I call the lower end basic concentrates, solvent extracted. Wax, Crumble, Shatter, Terp sauce, and Distillate. With distillate being the lowest quality, but highest thc content of all the concentrates.

Not sure about the RSO you've had, but mine is smooth, you just have to decarb it at about 150c and then it's clean and stable enough to dab. It's consistancy is like shatter from the fridge.
I started out with shatter and found that out pretty quick, i usually left it in my window sil and let it melt to a good consistency lmao
