- Just got it trimmed, and dialed in. On the last take off I got hit with a rogue X-wind from the right side rite at lift off. Happened so fast I had no time to react. I was so bummed out I ordered another one when I got home. There goes my RC budget for the year.

WoW and she was flying so good with two awesome landings in the books. Then the Simon Biles Cartwheel? Must have been one wicked crosswind gust. Ah well stuff happens and I am sure Chris and you will get it fixed and looking great again. Sorry to see the crash.
It was a rogue hit at a bad time, but I got another one, and have it ready to go
Good job guys! What an awesome airplane! Except for the crash
Keep em Flying 👍
Beautiful bird. Hoping to watch her back in the air soon 😊 Thanks, Mark
Thanks. I was out to Deblois day before yesterday, and they were moving the bee hives in so we will be shut down there for 4 to 6 weeks.
Hey Chris and Lori, man great flights and landings as well as camerawork only to end up on a bad note! Yep, it seems like way too often it's one of your favorite, most expensive or newest planes! Well thanks thumbs up for sharing the good and bad!
Dang it!! It was looking like such a nice day of flying too!!
Shit happens in this hobby. It was a strong X gust got me rite at the worst possible time.
Very nice plane man 👌👌👌
Thanks man. I have another one already to go. This one got parts plane status, and is in the box the new one came out of.
Bummer. I'm thinking to slow for take off. Hope she can be repaired
No, wasn't too slow for take off, it was direct cross wind (15+ mph) just as wheels lifted off the runway.
yip too slow
Just a rogue X gust at the worst possible time. The damage was not anything my wallet couldn't take care of lol.
That strip is so wide you could have launched into the wind. Oh well, at least you get to go home and shtoop Leah Remini.
Oh man. Sorry that happened. No worries. You can rebuild her. Good luck
Ugh, hate to see it mate. I pranged my Air Tractor on its second flight last weekend and was super bummed. I know its all part of the game but those maiden / first day wrecks are a gut punch
it was flying nice sorry to this happen we been there is it fixable 👍👍👍
Chris great flying until the stall. I fly a little faster in the turns and take off faster. Hope you can get it back soon. Jeff in LA USA
It was a bad rogue X-wind at the worst possible time. I ordered another one and have it already.
Ugh! That must have been after i left. It was so calm earlier and the wind just picking up as i was leaving.
I had to can my videos for that day as my camera was crooked on my hat/ helmet and planes were out of frame mostly.
Well glad i got a good picture of this on the ground before i left.
At least when you're new one comes, you'll have an extensive spare parts collection for it.
Yes it was about a 1/2 hr after you left. Sorry to hear you videos didn't come out well. I have already received another B25. It is all assembled, and ready to go.
Ouch! I hate those cartwheels!!
Me too.
sorry to see this happen...hope it works out...👍👍
It sucked for sure. I had it trimmed, and flying nice. The damage was cosmetic. If I had some clear packing tape it could have flown again. It is a parts plane now as I have already assembled a new one, and boxed this one back up.
Sorry to see that that sucks
You sure that was a crosswind???? Seems like the #1 engine stopped making thrust
I wondered the same thing, but both engines were making power when I test run them up. The winds were starting gust from calm to 15mph in the drop of a hat. Common sense was telling me to call it a day, but I wanted that ''one more flight''. It was weather veining to the right on the take off roll. It then lifted off before it was ready and rolled left. It all happened in about 12 seconds. While we inspecting the damage I looked down the runway, and noticed the wind sock was out straight, and 90 degrees to the runway. I was standing there saying to myself WTF just happened lol.
@@ctrcflyin2011you were at the controls that day. You know best of course, but boy that really seemed like the beginning of a snap roll. No chance something came loose inside and shifted the cg aft? I can see you were quick on full right aileron, but there was just no bringing it back. Nice smooth rotation. Crosswinds typically don’t do what happened to your poor Mitchell.
@@cloudstreets1396 I know what you mean. When I tested the motors I was expecting a dead left engine. They both spooled up fine. All I know is that I had a very strong cross gust at the very same time. It was a freak thing that I hope does not happen again any time soon.
That continuous voice !!!!!
