- The DC Universe Infinite App has been out for over a year now, but with over 29,000 comics under the subscription service, and the release of their newest update: Ultra, is it worth your money?

Infinite should get a big increase in available comics especially vertigo and black label in a week or two
The Ultra price hike is worth getting new releases 1 month vs 6 month. However, I was shocked when the app put a lot of their old back issue library available only in Ultra. As far as the print vs digital debate, i still buy print, every month. I still try to read my new stuff in print. I find it easier to read digital back issues, rather than digging out a 50 lb long box. I like to re read long story acrhs, or mini series all at once after they are all out, so ill catch up re reading on digital, then read the final print copy. I also know people who will only purchase limited variants, and read the digital
Literally the only problem with digital is that you cant get the definitive experience unless you have the biggest tablet available
I've just bought a 10 inch tablet so I'm excited to get stuck into this subscription, I have years of catching up to do

You come at a good and sad time. Sad that Amazon destroyed Comixology. But still it’s not gone. Just isn’t what it was/could be. Still, you can find lots of good sales there time to time. Then Marvel and DC’s apps are are in my opinion pretty great. You’ve got pretty much everything they’ve done (just about) right there to read. Reading on a tablet is also very comfy way of reading too! If you have any questions let me know!

I'm on my trial. So far I'm enjoying it. I've heard more titles will be added mid to late November. Probably the Vertigo/Black Label ones will be included then.
Nice review I wish image had something like this and marvel unlimited but I imagine that will be complicated
Thanks for reviewing the DC app. Particularly useful for me as with space and money getting tighter sooner or later I'll probably go at least partially digital especially for DC offerings. I'm still fighting for full physical with every breath though.😂👊

Aw man I hope it'll soon be available in Germany. It sucks that they haven't released the app worldwide yet. I hope it'll come out soon, because I really want to get a subscription since I can't afford buying a lot of physical comics all the time. I already have Marvel Unlimited, which I am very much enjoying.

@@unknown_chillhuman Dude, you need to have a United States credit card and a PayPal US account, I live in Asia and tried to buy, DC only supports US credit cards and US PayPal accounts to pay bills

My main thing, what I was wanting to know is if it's their entire back catalog. And it sounds like no, it is not. It's a lot of books, but it's not their entire back catalog. It still might be worth it. But I was hoping I could dive into most of the golden and silver age this way. There are some things from the 90s I'd like to read too, but I'm leery of paying a monthly fee to have limited access. Then again, do I really want it all when I know I'll never get to it all?

I would love to, but I like reviewing complete runs, so it would either be half Omnibus/half DC Infinite, or I'm gonna' wait until it's all released in the format :) Who knows if the channel will still be here by then, though. Thanks for the question! WOOF WOOF!

In my opinion the dc app is superior to the marvel app. The collections are by far better. And the dc app will let you read them in collection order. Where as the marvel app ways keeps you the serious , i.e. if you're reading a crossover , you always have to back out and go back to the crossover.
Does anyone the use app on Chromecast? I enjoyed reading comics on my Roku TV, but soon as DC Universe dropped videos,and branded over to DC Universe Infinite, Roku dropped the DC app.

In a word, NOPE! Always broken. Comics never load. No support or help desk. Needs a class action lawsuit. For punishments
Has anyone tested the option with the vpn?
I've had it since 2021. A lot of access to great stuff. My major complaints: #1 The filter search function is a F'ing joke. Its busted. #2 Where are the silver and bronze age superman books? Seriously what is the hold up?

One of the biggest problems with this app and marvel unlimited is if the app is even going to work for the past few months both apps have gone days being unusable because they won't load any books but when they work its easy to use

This thing is an absolute scam! 7.99 a month and you can't even read anything? Everything I click on just says "Only readable with Ultra!"...... Why and the hell would anyone pay for this shit?
