Carolina has the best Russian players, best Czech player, best Finnish players, and best American defensemen with soon to be the best American goal scorer. The team is stacked and hopefully they bring their skills to Carolinas youth hockey players so we can see some NHLers from here as well. A great bunch for young fans to learn from. Much love

That Skjei goal shouldn't have been called back. Noesen wasn't in the crease, he wasn't impeding the goalie from making the save, if anything he was pushing the goalie towards the puck. Contact with the goalie doesn't mean interference, contact that prevents them from making the save does

I was at the game today in Section 21. That bogus first penalty killed the Devils. The Canes clobbered Daws in the crease and the refs did nothing. These refs seem to have it out for the Devils. It is killing the Devils to give up the first goal. Jack had quite a few shots hit the post. Fitzgerald waited too long to fix the Devils problems this season. It is tragic and frustrating. I would like to see Green bench Hughes and/or Nemec for a while and have Santeri Hattaka on the roster. The Devils defense we know about. Obviously the Power Play is a mess. Meier should be on PP1.
