- Is a major international airport located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is the world's busiest airport by international passenger traffic.
- It is a major airline hub in the Middle East, and is the main airport of Dubai.
- It is situated in the Al Garhoud district, 2.5 nautical miles (4.6 km; 2.9 mi) east of Dubai.
- The airport is operated by the Dubai Airports Company and is the home base of Dubai's international airlines, Emirates, FlyDubai and Emirates SkyCargo
- The Emirates hub is the largest airline hub in the Middle East
- Emirates now handles 64 per cent of all passenger traffic, and accounts for about 50 per cent of all aircraft movements at the airport.

- In addition to being an important passenger traffic hub, the airport handled 2.37 million tonnes of cargo and 357,339 aircraft movements.
- Dubai International is an important contributor to the Dubai economy, employing approximately 90,000 people, indirectly supports over 400,000 jobs and contributes over US$26.7 billion to the economy, which represents around 27 per cent of Dubai’s GDP and 21 percent of the employment in Dubai.
- It is predicted that by 2020 the economic contribution of Dubai’s aviation sector will rise to 37.5 per cent of the city's GDP, and by 2030, the economic impact of aviation is projected to grow to $88.1 billion and support 1.95 million jobs in Dubai or 44.7% of the GDP and 35.1% of the total employment.

What can I say??? First: happy New Year to you!!!! Second: I am speechless. Is this the best trip report of 2014..or already of the New Year??? When i started to watch it I did not pay attention that it was 50 min! But then I did not get bored for 50 min...nor did my two bottles of beer:)). What a report!! From al Satwa into Sao Paulo....just everything!!! This must be the most comprehensive trip report ever on youtube..I totally loooved it. No, dont walk over water now:) I missed some info on the wines. And the cam was most of the time mounted lower than usual..a bit too low, I thought. So, this must be the best trip report ever for 2014..some little scope for improvement 2015 remaining:)))). But I really loved the sensational images..the true life reporting..nobody else allows viewers to be so close to being part of the story and travel with the video maker...CHAPEAU..a BIIIIIG THANK YOU for letting us travel with you in such a comprehensive way..cant wait to see more views from your MAGIC Cam:))))

I am happy to hear that you enjoyed every single minute of the video. The cam is either mounted on my personal business trolley, duty free shopping cart or chest mount in a special case. Therefore most of the time "low view" which makes it kind of interesting too as hardly seen. If chest mount then it is shaking too much which is the other problem. - Improvements, well there is always something that can be done. - I LOVE your CHANNEL too and I wished I'd have more time to see all of your vids. Keep the good work and also looking forward to see more vids from you. YOU ARE the TRUE master of TRAVEL REPORTING. All my RESPECT to YOU!

Natasha Stojsic Thanks for your valuable feedback and that you like the new feature. The flight is approx. 14 hrs in either direction. You could also fly from Dubai to Sydney just to give you an idea of the distance.

Frederick König To some extent, yes I do. It reminds me a lot of my childhood. But we also have amazing weather now in Dubai, not too hot and not too cold.
If I am right it rains only seven times a year in Dubai... Sometimes it rains once a week in Switzerland - from Monday to Sunday....
On digital tv National Geographic's reportage about DXB Airport is shown (and I am recording it).
Frederick König It rains several times a year in Dubai. I doubt that it is exactly 7 times, it should be more than that. National Geographic do an excellent job with their footages and are one of my favorite channels.
