By the end of this episode, you will learn everything about Ernest Hemingway’s famous novella, The Old Man And The Sea.
Ernest Hemingway wrote The Old Man And The Sea in 1951 in Cuba and published it one year later. It is considered to be one of Hemingway’s best works which brought him a Nobel Prize in Literature in 1954. Hemingway himself praised the book and called it the personification of what he always desired to create.
the old man and the sea, at its heart, is the story of a man at odds with his weaknesses, and it is not until he meets a worthy opponent that he can get the true measure of his strength. The main character, Santiago, has many great qualities that make him a likable hero. His respect and appreciation for his opponent, the great fish, his love for nature, his disarming simplicity, and his gratitude towards what he has been given, regardless of how little it might be, rise the readers' interest and make them root for him in his quest to conquer his bad luck.

What a beautiful and well made video bro. I felt like I was part of the story. I really appreciate channels like this because I have trouble reading books I'm really easy to get distracted and then I have to reread a lot but with this video the music, calm reading style, and the art to look at and visualize while listening made this story so easy to understand and not get distracted from. This video was a masterpiece and helped me appreciate this book more than I could have ever thanks to you. I subscribed and I will definitely be coming back this channel for other books as well. IMO: the part in the movie where he’s struggling with the fish drags on for far too long. I know it’s intentional BUT that part of the movie sucked & it took up too much time out of the movie. It wasn’t as bad in the book. The book didn’t make it seem as boring.
