The legendary Mr Robert wolfman Belfort is part of that Mississippi Hill country Blues mob like I always say there's only one Mississippi and they got the musicians to prove it 🎸🎶
La Shawn, I'm so sorry for you loss. I never knew the man, only met him once. But he made an Australian boy, very happy, when he traveled to Clarksdale Mississippi. Bless his soul. Enjoy the video, all. The Man can play.
As a musician that covers this song, this was outstanding! Guitar tuned down to B and playing in that minor key....he just killed it. I've never heard a version of Smokestack lightning like this and probably never will again. This gentlemen is/was a gem to the art. I will have to look into more of his music.
I always like listening Robert, That's R L Boyce in the cowboy hat and T-Model Ford next to him and me next to T-Model when the video first start. I can't remember the guy name in the black hat but know of him. I also still have the photo of T-Model and I that was taken.. That was so much fun. Thanks for sharing. RIL Robert & T-Model.
I think this is actually my favorite take on Wolf's classic besides the original itself. It's played in a vastly different style than the original, which makes it fresh.
what a great video !! robert belfour is amazing ! and in the back there is t model ford and rl boyce having a good time !! thanks for share !! cheers !!
Open G tuning is fun as hell. I play exactly the way Keith Richards does in Open G tuning and plucking off the top string. Though, you can't play in keys lower than G2, but you can get your way around that.

Saw him in Norwich UK 🇬🇧 once … very nice humble gentleman of the blues
Thank you. I was there that day and this brings back rich memories.
R.I.P Uncle Page, aka Robert "Wofman" Belfour you're going to be missed..... But your music will live on forever....

Your uncle was amazing! 🔥😎🔥💯🔥😎🔥
Amen.
I just recently discovered him, and I would have LOVED to have danced to his stuff at the Juke Joint Fest.
Absolutely fantastic! THE Wolfman groove is DIVINE! And seeing R.L. and T-Model F. on the background having a good time is such a bliss!
Doesn’t get better than this !!!

I miss you my friend. Rest in peace; and job well done, Wolf. 🐺🍻✌🏽
wow - all the giants in the background O_O
There’s Royalty on that stage my friends!
Wish I could meet a old bluesman. Those guys are my heros.
Especially in The deep South
Last of the Great ones.....
I think I see T Model Ford in the background there, talking to the woman in white up against that wall there. Must've been a helluva show.
That's right!
Yep that’s me next to T-Model and R L Boyce on the other side of T-Model.
PV
T Model Ford and RL Boyce drinking Jack and hittin on the white women!
Gotta love them stanky' coochie white girls!😈😂👍👅👃🐍
They say t model had 26 kids! No pull out!

When was this filmed???
Awesome
Where is wolf man from? My first time hearing him.
He was born and raised in Red Banks, Mississippi and moved to Memphis, where he spent the remaining years of his life.✌🏽
Why Porkchop have to stand in the way? 🤦🏽♂️🤷🏾♂️
👏👏👍👍🥇🥇
What year was this concert?
Sort of Jorma K like... related I think. Delicious, pure Americana
That's just your opinion no more no less.
