#zacefron #movienews A24 brings us their latest gritty film, The Iron Claw. Based around the Von Erich wrestling family and their "curse", does it live up to the hype...?
Devastating story, but my god the performances were phenomenal. Efron deserves all the recognition for this. He’s become a genuinely terrific actor. He had me crying hard at the end of this one.
The reason Kerry visited his brothers near the end is because Kevin has recounted how he felt then, that he was thinking/visualizing in his mind about Kerry reuniting with them. I thought that was an awesome touch.
3:34 Zac Efron is obviously enhanced, but that shouldn't diminish his achievement here - it is still an astonishing physique, probably one of the best in recent cinema history to be honest, very few actors would push their body this far for a role. And it isn't just about looking incredible, he gives a performance to match. He's insanely good and this is a career high for him. The film is excellent as well.
I grew up watching the Von Erichs and I loved the whole family like they were part of my family, they had that weird effect on people. I that the acting was great except for the Ric Flair actor. I didn't like that fact that Chris Von Erich wasn't included in the film. The movie glossed over a lot of events and did weird things with the timeline that weren't accurate. I think that it would have been better as a season 8 episode series kinda like the mma show Kingdom. The movie did a good job of showing how much the family loved one another which was great to see. I wished that the film would have shown just how popular they were especially in Texas. The brothers were superstars, rral life superheros in the ring especially Kerry, the guy had supernatural level charisma, David could get people fired up with his promos and Kevin was like Tarzan. I miss those days. Without the Von Erichs there would be no Stone Cold Steve Austin because he was a fan of theres and inspired to get in the business by them. They truly changed pro wrestling.
It was the story of 6 brothers. They decided to exclude Chris. Which is sad because that was the thing that drove Kerry over the edge. The director 1st said timing. Now says it was too sad and too much. Kerry ended his journey almost exactly like his little brother Chris.
@@triplehsheartattack8515 Baywatch came out in 2017. He was ripped in Baywatch. All he needed was size. It’s nearly 2024, so nearly 7 yearS ago. So….Ive been saying it for years.
Absolutely loved the movie and you were right I did have a memorable experience watching the film with having no prior knowledge of the family’s events
The only thing I didn’t like and it’s a small thing , nit picking , is a few times they show a tv screen and you see them wrestling and it’s the real von Erich’s and not the actors , they should of recreated the matches and not used real footage , that took me away from the believe ability of the actors a bit , but great movie imo

Zac Efron should be the next Wolverine after Hugh Jackman is done playing the character in the mcu and X-Men movies
Cyclops face with a Logan body
Idk about that 😅
I'm so glad the world is giving the amazing world of Pro Wrestling history and lore a chance.
It's deserved.
Hopefully we get more!

They cut out a lot like David having a daughter that passed away
I’ve been saying for years that I reckon Zac Efron would make a great He-man.
I highly doubt youve been saying that for years. He is too short to play as him anyway

Its crazy even Robert pattinson acted pretty well in Batman. I wouldnt ever think they would be in anything good
@@triplehsheartattack8515if they can get Hugh Jackman in platforms to make him look taller in the first Xmen then Zac can be taller
Effron was subtle because Kevin is subtle. A very mellow kind of guy.
He nailed it.

This movie has the best brother chemistry ive seen as of late. The last time I liked a brother chemistry was Charlie and Raymond Bobbit in Rain Man.
Excited to see this one.
Your statue collection is *chef kiss*
Great movie
Zack would be a great he-man
Good to hear, seeing this tomorrow for date night. I’d rather see aquaman but my girlfriend wants this movie instead
Efron had to body to play Kerry and the actor who played Kerry looks more like Kevin. If they switched those two actors would have been 10/10

That was the best part I geek out when I saw that
It doesn't cuz Chris von Erich was missing
So what part at the end didn’t you care for?
