It’s actually kind of scary how much this really feels like a “sign,” exactly as you described it. I’ve also been stretching myself thin because I draw so much of my self-worth from being able to help others, and it’s made me realize that even your loved ones can turn a blind eye to your neglect of yourself without meaning to. It’s been hard saying no, I truly truly hate feeling like something can’t happen or be as easy as it could be because I’m burnt out, but I’m trying. Gorgeous piece, I’d love a print of it if you’re planning to sell it!
watched this while doing my homework for my intro to medical class (wish me luck the test is on friday!) Pypah I love your art your so talented, hands down my FAVORITE artist!
Saw that you released a video during my school, and I was saving it to watch while drawing something this weekends. I ended up drawing something I loved, witch hasn't happened for over a month now. Your videos are so calming, and you inspire me so much! ❤
This was beautiful The gold foil really made it pop. I've been trying to experiment with wet medium and I've settled on acryla gouache but you make acrylic seem so easy with the layering that you can do try and wet.
This is such a beautiful piece and well done for taking some self care time. I particularly like the different textures you created. Top left and bottom left hands are my favourites
Thank you so much for this wonderful video . I've been struggling as well and needed a refresher and encouragement to get back into my art. Your video has helped me get morivated
I love the final result of your work, I always watch your videos and they help me improve my skills, you are a very inspiring and very talented person. thank you very much.
Pypah!!! I love this! Both the painting and the reason behind it. I've been feeling the same recently and this hit the feelings right on the head! Thanks for ALL you do!
Perfect! I hope ur loss is replaced with a new blessing. The gold leaf idea was DOPE. For a minute I thought you were about to add hair to the hands and arms too LOL Keep your head up and FLEURISH
The gold foil looks so fun! I have yet to dabble with it. I've seen folks use a paintbrush to apply it. Added such a bright touch! It looks like the hands are all 'Asking a piece of you', which definitely makes sense when you said pouring from an empty cup. Glad you were able to get some personal painting done! Looks great :)
Me "Oh cool finger bone ring!" You "bamboo inspired ring"😂 I love this video and the art! Been in love with it since the first time I saw it/a wip on Instagram!
very beautiful i have a huge roll of foil i want to use it some more. ive been painting 27 years before you were born ,i love watercolors i bought so many palettes last year ,my pantry is full of acrylics .thank you .i dont knowhow to draw hands so i just do faces
Hi. I stumbled across your videos and I like how you explained details opinions on the painting. I have a question regarding to it. Is it mandatory / a must to use gesso before painting or is it just fine without the gesso? I haven’t painted in years since my last one because now I’m a working young adult. I barely have time to do things I really like 🥲
I’m so sorry to hear about your kitty, but i’m so glad you took some time for yourself to heal and rest!! And i ADORE the final piece!!

It’s not mandatory, a lot of canvases are already gessoed too. It just helps the paint stick and pop out on the canvas
