yoooo! you really chose one of kpop's most legendary bops!! i'm shook. this song was sooo huge back in the day lol. you HAVE to react to their song called Kill Bill. It's based off the Kill Bill movie and it's absolute fire.
yo who are giving you these retro kpop vids? lol....i am pleasantly surprised that you are reacting to old kpop vids...no other new kpop reactor is doing this...
Oath. Like with all these fake reactors atm, ol mate dezzy here is being hella genuine by dedicating a whole ass day for the veterans of kpop. Like he taking the time to actually walk down memorylane. Legend.
You guys! Lol I just go through and read them & do some research-reading. Gets me even more excited or sad in some cases when you find out the group’s disbanded 💔
Honestly, tho, I appreciate your Kpop TBT, Dezzy, as like many have mentioned, not many do it (or of they do, they keep comparing them to newer groups, mostly BTS and EXO. Ofc I’m not hating on them (because hello, I’m multifandom, and I have set biases for each group)). Can you also do some classic Super Junior, BoA, and DBSK/TVXQ (as 5 members)?
One of the main attraction of k-pop's songs is the dance! Our body sway automatically to the song's choreo like in abracadabra, you'll sway your hips,!! the `2nd' k-pop generations has lots of Famous songs & choreo! like, Super Junior, Sorry, sorry, (you've reacted to this) WONDERGIRL Nobody (you've reacted to this too) try reacting to T-ARA Roly Poly, 2PM Heartbeat (they hv many songs with great moves! like heartbeat, again & again, I'll be back) By the way, I'm always looking forward to Throwback Thursday!!
The director of Abracadabera was a graduate of NYU's film school. The video broke all kinds of ground in KPop. It may even be the single best MV ever done in KPop, for the cinematic qualities it has and how it's one of the few that tells a complex yet cohesive story.
One of the reasons brown eyed girls were different from other girl groups was because these weren't fresh 16-19 year olds, they were mature women in they're late 20's, early 30's. Because of this, all their songs had a sexy, mature sound and it was refreshing because most popular girl groups, at the time, were still in their innocent cutesy pop stage.
I saw someone suggest NCT U "The 7th Sense" and I really highly recommend that because it's an authentic hip hop track from a newer group. I also saw someone suggest Yoon Mi Rae and Tiger JK and I definitely highly recommend checking out their work as well, especially Yoon Mi Rae because she's an OG rap goddess in Korea. She's been around for more than a decade. Almost two. She came out with a song today actually called No Gravity but I suggest checking out any and all of her work, old and new.
BTW, Gain (pronounced Gah and then "in", Ga-in) the one you pointed out at 3:12, is a really popular solo artist as well and you should check out her singles. Apple (ruclips.net/video/qSEtAC8wkhw/видео.html) - A fun, flirty song she did with Jay Park (who raps in it) Paradise Lost (ruclips.net/video/4i32ANEa5mk/видео.html)- Just really sexy and awesome, and really, really sexy choreo Fxxk U (ruclips.net/video/VSAVsstaj4E/видео.html) - a really ballsy song for kpop, and it features Bumkey so it has really good singing and I think you'd find the music video interesting to say the least.
Brown eyed girls are the noonas of kpop. These women are vocal queens and were slaying concepts left and right! They had everyone doing this dance! It was a great time for kpop.
they were my heart...do u know tiger jk and yoon mi rae?? they are rap hiphop power couple..i suggest yoon mi rae black happiness its about her struggle of being half black n korean..or "get it in" those 2 my fav old schools lol
Thank you for reacting to the classics! BEG were one of the first girl groups to stick to a mature and sexy concept i admire them so much + their discography is amazing.. You should check out Paradise Lost by Gain im sure you’d like it!!
My first Loves! The QUEENS who introduced me to K-Pop with this video and song!! Been hooked ever since this video. I Love them and am eternally grateful to them!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍
OMG we should've suggested this much sooner! There's a performance video for this, too - though I think you would've seen it by now. Yeah, these ladies are queens. That hip dance is a trademark until now!
AND S.E.S "I'M YOUR GIRL", IT'S ICONIC AND KPOP GROUPS STILL COVER IT TO THIS DAY, IT'S PROBABLY THEIR MOST POPULAR SONG (ruclips.net/video/WpmTLDtr4qY/видео.html I found their mv in HD) it was released in 1997.
You HAVE to react to more BigBang !!! Throwbacks like Bad Boy, Haru Haru or Bae Bae; iconic bops you can’t ignore !!! Also please react to Wonder Girls - Why So Lonely & Jooyoung - Wet !!!
"Sorry, not sorry. Orange is my favorite color" haha🤣🤣 I really like your reaction. It's so funny and humorous, and also makes sense!! Thank you for keeping making kpop reaction video :) 👍🏼 Always fun to see yours. I recommend Brown Eyed Girls another music video "Six sense". One of my fav songs and videos from them :)
Definitely OGs where first generation girl groups are concerned. Glad you could tell, but honestly I think you probably could tell with all the first generation groups. They are all very polished artists, which is why its a shame we rarely see them nowadays. Understandable considering how new groups are blowing up and companies need to focus on what works, but that's another rant for another day. Anyway thanks for the reaction, it was great to hear this song again. Its been like a good year since Iast heard it. Appreciating your choices for Throwback Thursday. Also, I'm pretty sure this was the song you mentioned that they got popular on. Can't remember any other song before this that people were going crazy over, but I could be wrong.
Thank you so much for doing this TBT. I’ve been listening to kpop for the past 10years and there have been so many gems that people missed out on. So I’m glad that they are getting their deserved attention. 😻
The short hair girl is Ga-In, she was in Psy's 'Gentleman' MV - you should check out her MV's for 'Fxxk U' and 'Paradise Lost' also you'll probably never get another request for this but you will enjoy Anda - 'Touch' which is very ...girl on girl.
I like gain, i think she is kinda like the modern korean Madonna..pushing boundaries and all..I get excited when people react to GAIN - BLOOM...the song is sweet happy feels, but then BAM in your face by the end of the video...I am living for the "kitchen scene" if you know what i mean :P it was so empowering & risky for a female k-pop idol to do that
Thanks for reacting. Brown eyed Girls is one of my favorite girl groups. They were originally an R&B group when they first debuted but switched it up later. They got killer vocals man!
Yes Brown Eyed Girls we’re always known as the “mature idols”, they are older and have always had a sexy concept. They are my favorite girl group, and my bias is Ga-In. She’s literally the sexiest woman in kpop, check out her solo songs
If you like them you should definitely watch "Kill Bill" and "Sixth sense". Also, the girl at 3:13 is Gain and she has some cool songs. My favorites are "Paradise Lost", "Bloom" and "Fxxk U" :)
BEG was probably my first favourite girl group in Kpop. Other songs to check out for sure would be Brave New World, Kill Bill & The Sixth Sense. Also Ga-In (the girl with the shortest hair who you liked) has great solo stuff 'Paradise Lost' is a must see.
I LOVE brown eyed girls. they’re one of my faves. they have been in the game for like what? more than ten years now? and they’re still all together. really good group. their last album was so good, i bought it. also, since they’re an older group, they take a lot more risks. you should react to kill bill, not only is the song a bop but it was a parody of the movie. it’s great. since you like gain, you should react to her solo stuff. like her song bloom.
This is sooooo late but you should watch Gain's paradise lost. As a literature student, that video is one of the most poetic and powerful to ever come out in years but a lot of people just get lost with the 'sensuality' of it.
Haha I love these older girl groups The new girl groups are just too cute and sweet for me . I wait patiently for you to see TVXQ with Mirotic and more BigBang songs
2009-2010 is the Gold year of K-POP damn I’m lucky I enjoyed them enough since then till now, and I’m glad people are discovering them even tho 10 years after. So many groups and old K-pop songs is as good as K-POP now a days.
Lean back, cross your arms, and sway your hips side to side. It is famously called the "Arrogant Dance". PSY of Gangham Style fame paid ultimate tribute to Brown Eyed Girls by performing the Arrogant Dance in his 2013 Gentleman music video.
You should watch the never aging queen of kpop BOA I think she made her debut either in late 90’s or early 2000’s! I recommend watching her song called ‘ONLY ONE’.
S.E.S's I'm Your Girl ... the iconic 1998 music video. S.E.S is a first generation superstar girl group and the precursor of Girls' Generation and 2NE1.
In case you didnt know, Ga-in from Abacadabra was the one in PSY "GEntleman" MV dancing with Psy and the Gentleman dance is inspired by this abacadabra dance!
You need to react to GAIN -Paradise Lost GAIN - _Fxxk U Sunmi - Full Moon & 24hours ❤ You'll love these sexy soloist singers and their amazinggg vocals and performances😫👌🏾
BEG's choreography is iconic. Psy (Gangnam Style guy) has used it. And Brown Eyed Girls are legendary for their music themes and concepts. The girl hip swaying that u paused on is Gain. She has solo music. I recommend her song Paradise Lost. It's a trip. Ty for reacting to kpop royalty.
Yesss please react to more brown eyed girls! Especially warm hole lmao. Also the dance breakdown was done by ga in, she has a lot of solo stuff. Please react to bloom and paradise lost by her!
I am a gen 1+2 era fan and I love coming back to see reactions to older kpop, haha. New to your channel but I'm loving your reactions and commentary lol. That hip sway is deadly. If you haven't, do check out Jewelry - Passion, Baby Vox - Devotion, and Hyori - 10 Minutes for gen 1 kpop with sultry dances and catchy hooks ☺️ (Vid quality might be a bit low)
Please check out their song and MV "Sixth Sense"! It's super epic and it came out nearly 7 years ago or so now but it still holds up very well, hasn't aged badly. They also show off their vocal skills a bit more in that song.
He said "Orange is my favorite color" like that was the reason he rewinded 😂
yoooo! you really chose one of kpop's most legendary bops!! i'm shook. this song was sooo huge back in the day lol. you HAVE to react to their song called Kill Bill. It's based off the Kill Bill movie and it's absolute fire.
I seen that & was shook just off seeing the title of that! I'm on it!
I personally liked hot shot 😍👍
yo who are giving you these retro kpop vids? lol....i am pleasantly surprised that you are reacting to old kpop vids...no other new kpop reactor is doing this...
Oath. Like with all these fake reactors atm, ol mate dezzy here is being hella genuine by dedicating a whole ass day for the veterans of kpop. Like he taking the time to actually walk down memorylane. Legend.

1st and 2nd gen is still the best.
+ねこらいか agree
Yes! Dancing points that people can dance along to were huge back then, like you need a singing and a dancing hook to make a hit
The girl with the short hair that you liked is Gain, you should react to her music too it's hella lit!
Pronounced as Gah-In
i love Paradise Lost.
Queen.
Yess
I love Kiss Or Kill from the Missing Nine OST.
The queens. Often imitated, never beaten. This song is *timeless*.
Also, your reaction to seeing Gain for the first time was the correct one.
One of the top 5 kpop songs of all time. BEG in top 10 for groups as well. Legends in K-Pop history
These lyrics are everything. I love them.
I love you for doing a research before reacting to stuff lol
This song is ICONIC!! Soooo many variety shows redid the dance over and over again
You have to see K.will- Please Don't it has to be one of the biggest plot twists
Jamless Army when I first saw that video, it gave me feels because I finished Answer Me 1997 just before😭😭
The biggest plot twist in K-pop
Omg that video was my 2nd ever kpop video. The ending had me screaming
Hell yeah
They are one of the best vocal groups in kpop history. If you want to see their vocal, please react to 'Sixth Sence'

I did that one a while back! Loved it! I've still gotta check out Yoon Mi Rae too!
BTW, Gain (pronounced Gah and then "in", Ga-in) the one you pointed out at 3:12, is a really popular solo artist as well and you should check out her singles.

Paradise Lost (ruclips.net/video/4i32ANEa5mk/видео.html)- Just really sexy and awesome, and really, really sexy choreo

You know what, you liked Gain in the group so you should watch her mv for Paradise Lost.
I knew this music because of T.O.P 😹😹
Please check out their song and MV "Sixth Sense"! It's super epic and it came out nearly 7 years ago or so now but it still holds up very well, hasn't aged badly. They also show off their vocal skills a bit more in that song.
that little rock move that do... inspired the dance move from PSYs Gentleman
“Her...Her...”. Is Ga-In. She was in Psy’s Gentleman with the hip swaying dance. 😝
Ga-in is the girl in Psy's Gentleman music video. And he adopted this hip dance for that song too
please watch their mv "killl bill" too! or gain's bloom, and gain's fxxk u, or gain's paradise lost. she's a member of this group!
That dance move you like in the first 30 seconds is kinda famous in Korea. Psy used it and invited Gain in his Gentleman video...
Idk if u realize but somewhere in junk town kansas your videos are entertaining a full breakroom at walmart lol your videos make my day
