I don't think there is anything wrong with learning from a video. Coding is challenging so whatever way you learn best is fine. The more examples and practice you do the more you begin to see how you can modify something you have done before to make something new.

i added a part, made it completely tansparent, moved it to the end of the barrel and that worked too

it worked but it doesn't kill the player and they just froze and get stuck on their death area
