I've had thus book for years but never thiroughly read it. This video fulfills some sage advice: If you have a book you won't read, give it to someone who will and let them tell you what it's about. Now I can read it and look past all that oriental allegorical, metaphorical nonsense and perhaps learn from it. Thanks.

That last observation is a great point, you cannot teach or guide in the same way all people... Musashi's people that approached him were already motivated to become great, bc of his fame, I guess... same with all things. So how can a person motivate another, like a father his son or daughter, to learn and be better at thing sir they are not motivated... or a teacher his student that is forced to go to school, or a gym trainer his trainee what is not giving enough effort or does it only when he "feels" like it??
