The one thing that always seems weird in the last 10 years was the questioning and criticism of f the opposition by the media.. the opposition literally does not have any power to do anything. The role of the media is to keep the government at its toes to ensure that the government works for the people.

The Leftist Godi Media persons are missing the point. If they think Indian people have spoken out against BJP and Modi its so mistaken. How would they explain 37% people who have voted for BJP and almost the entire vote is without the support of any alliance except for Bihar and AP. BJP lost majority only because of 3 states Maharashtra UP and Rajasthan. Maharashtra due to bad Politics , UP due to a Yadav, Muslim and Dalit vote consolidation due to the campaign about Reservation and Constitution change combine with some social distress in rural areas which BJP missed to address and in Rajasthan due to bad internal decisions by BJP. How to explain BJP thumping wins in Arunachal and Odhisha. The only point in the debate I agree is when Preeti said the Ram temple function created fear in Dalits and most backward communities who form a big chunk of population in UP. BJP should have ensured it was an inclusive program by having local people involved as well as involving leaders and people from across communities to be involved vs having celebrities becoming the main focus during the function. Its a good result that we have good opposition strength now and hope they have positive debates and dont use it for Modi bashing in parliament. Instead of conducting themselves as activist the MP's should bring up issues of people of the constituency they represent. Because party leaders took a stand to do activism type politics most of the MP's could not bring up real people issues whom they represent. Leftist Godi and Rightist Godi Media persons should stop exaggerating things and have a factual based debates rather than opinionated debates.
