The tournament takes place for the 143rd time and is the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year. Last year, Spain's Carlos Alcaraz and Poland's Iga Swiatek claimed the men's and women's singles titles. I met him a few years back at the US Open, for Kids Day. He was casually practicing on one of the smaller courts. Very approachable and he spent countless minutes signing autographs and taking pictures with every single kid around. Top guy!

I met him at Indian Wells on 2012. At that time it was very easy to meet the players that were walking out to the practice courts. I wouldn't even go see the matches, I would just hang out where the players would walk out to practice or back in the cafeteria, hang out area they had for them. I met almost all the players. My best being Rafael Nadal. But the one who was nicest to everyone was John isner. He treated everyone with respect and kindness. Ferrer, verdasco were very cool as well.
