Love the mood this song creates you feel the vibe he's such an excellent songwriter I allways liked what he contributed to the Sonic Youth albums his songs alllways had a slightly different vibe too them. But were still 100 percent Sonic Youth just a slightly altered angle .His solo stuff is allways rocking and Steve Shelley usually does the drumming he's the bussiest drummer in rock if you ask me just think about the side projects he's non stop (work ethic) ...he should get some kind of award ...right on...
What can be said - excellent song and performance from Ranaldo et al. But Thurston can really deliver - caught a gig in Brooklyn with him and Debbie Googe on bass and Shelley on drums (can't remember who the second guitarist was) - boy, was that good!!!
I think Alot of Sonic Youth sounded like Neil esp. Thursty/Thurston but Renaldo's too - which ain't a Bad thing in my bk...chk the SY song: Rain on Tin- Tremendo song n Moore's vocals r ALMOST emulating Young's..👍🤟✌️😷
Saw Lee play Brooklyn 3 times from '12-'13, all in Brooklyn. Between The Times And The Tides translated incredibly live w/ Nels and company, and I remember these as some of the best performances I've ever seen.
amazing riff in the verse! Great song structure, reminds me of Neil Young a little bit, it rocks!
He was the best SY singer. He should have been out front more. All my favorite SY songs have him singing lead.
Eric's Trip, Pipeline / Kill Time, In the Kingdom#19, Mote, Saucer Like, Karen's Revisited, Rats, Hendrix Necro ... a top tiers songs of SY tbh

Add Nels Cline to anything, you'll get magic.
Jazzmaster. What a wonderful instrument.
It's like a step above a guitar.
Harry Dowling I LoveShe from Latersweet
it's a jazzblaster not master.
asobi neko which is a Jazzmaster with Wide Range pickups…
really one of the best albums by anybody in years,,, I cant give him enough praise,,, just amazing album
I like his solo work the most. Call me a traditionalist but i like how his work sounds like classic hippie rock.

Love Shelley and Ranaldo! Kim and Thurston just kinda fell off for me. Not that I don't love them, but Lee and Steve are putting out good work!

Can't help but hear a little Neil Young influence here!!! Love the album and this track!!! Thanks, Lee...
This feels so much like a Neil Young song.

Chk
Lee Renaldo Band, Lee R..and the Dust- they who have not yet...,🤟✌️
It's amazing how this still sound so 'Sonic Youthy' with only Lee singing and playing the guitar.
Two great guitarists on stage; both interesting and playing it damn fine
Nope 3.
JAZZMASTERS: UNITE!
what a performance, love this song. nels cline is a rad addition
You rock Lee! Awesome song!
Shit. I've been a Sonic Youth fan for 15 years and I'm loving this entire album a lot more right now than any of their albums as a group.

Una maravilla de canción!! genio Lee
Que joya de la música está canción en vivo !! Mi Dios !!!
HUGE Neil Young fan, and do not get why people say this is like Neil. DO NOT hear it at all.
Good SY-sounding, though....
I want Lee's Jazzmaster guitar!!!
I believe Steve Shelley is on the drums as well :P
Saw this legend at Bitterzoet yesterday. What an experience.
Good stuff this.
Never heard of them before.
Genio lee!!
Such a good song
that was the wilco stage stuff....did Lee open for wilco on a tour? Either way - Awesome!
either way lololol
l'unico dei sonic che fa qualcosa di ascoltabile, lunga vita, lee is free!!!!
Tkm Lee
and if u blur yr eyes a bit its like Nels is Thurston haha
Who's on bass?
jesus fucking christ those guitars...
nice. very neil young.
I don;t think it sounds so much like SY - I do like it a lot. To the extent it sounds like SY it may be the prominent Tom Verlaine influence.
great
Neil Young and Crazy Horse actually...
oyster bay baby
and also sounds like depeche mode
Man... two of my Favourite players... absolute boss!
but, anybody else getting a bit of a Tom Petty vibe from this?
How come you never mention the Flucks?
Is that Adrian Belew @3:34?
Similar, but definitely not Adrian. He plays a Parker fly and (with no offence intended) would not be that skinny nowadays!
Must be Alan Licht.
Lol, wouldnt that be something.
