I didn't watch the show much, but I saw that opening sequence a LOT! When I saw it just now for the first time in 50 years I was momentarily that kid sitting in front of that small black and white TV. Very eerie experience.
Used to watch this show in black & white . Now old days over I m happy I can view in colours as well as I understand English too..
This proves that TV today is garbage. Pure entertainment to take your mind off your troubles. Not TV to concentrate on the important topic of the day. Just sing along and enjoy!
Lucy was in her 50s in this episode, and she still had a gorgeous figure!

Who plays Colin grant? I can't place him. I looked everywhere and he's not listed. He also looks like an Italian actor of the same time era which I can't place either. 10:06 Thanks.

I noticed how Ms. Ball is playing straight man to Ms. Burnett . She did not do that with Ann Sothern , nor with any of the ILL crew .
In 1967, the Hawaiian musical segment was considered comedy; now it is everything from cultural appropriation to cultural insensitivity. Considering the topics, and language, of most of today's comedy, I think things have degraded since the 1960's. Funny how the snowflakes claim to be improving society, yet it's more crude and vulgar than ever.
