I just love that you all experienced the kindness and welcome of the Nigerians you came across! I have a Nigerian family member and she is one of the kindest and most generous people I know! And some of my closest friends of almost 10 years are Nigerians! They’re always a few rotten apples that give others a bad name, but that is true of every tribe and country!

I have a funny feeling that the next time you visit Nigeria, you might get swept off your feet by some Nigerian man. There is very little difference between you guys and Nigerians. Our country is simply massive and very diverse. Nigeria is also a very wealthy country despite the prevalent poverty. The poverty is mostly stemming from the Islamic north where the elite do not invest in education and healthcare for their masses. They also discourage Christianity, which is the key to emancipation. Because of God's word, southern Nigeria and Nigerians continue to thrive despite the government induced underdevelopment. The church in Nigeria is at the forefront of building schools and hospitals. They have also started to invest in social amenities for leisure and wellness. Glory be to God!
