@Gw3mmy i play on Console and feel the same way you do. And it's got a long wind-up i don't like, but it has to have it. The explosive shots will erase stuff on the farm. Was a real wtf!!! The one time i accidentally shot one in my barn and lost a handful of cheese presses. I dislike the slingshot a lot
@Gw3mmy definitely feels like slingshot are meant for the keyboard/mouse setup. I play stardew Valley with a controller and it's definitely awkward to use.
Eat ginger or ginger lemonade to cure yourself from the putrid ghost neausea. Also, if you want to use all the infinity weapons, you can enchant them with bug killer or crusader to make them worthwile. That way, you can kill mummies and invulnerable bugs.
My favorite ring combo (after reaching the Forge) is the Burglar's Ring + the Hot Java Ring. I love coming home from a trip to the Mines with 50 more cups of coffee than I had when I left. 😄
My least favorite monsters are those slow and annoying ghosts! They're always out of range and take so long to kill :( At least with the new parrot trinket killing monsters is much more fun!
Worth knowing on crits: base chance is 2% on galaxy sword (generally similar). An aquamarine reforge boosts it *additively* by 4.8% each (slightly more for daggers). The Scout profession and aquamarine rings, meanwhile, are multiplicative. So unless you have an aquamarine-enhanced weapon or are using temporary buffs like statue of blessings, the crit rate is pretty tiny even with scout & rings.
Only tip I have is because I hate the ghosts enemies. Usually because they float away every time they are hit, they take a bit of time to kill in times where you're usually trying to make the most of any time available to get to the next floors of skull cavern or find more dust sprites. The dagger's special is quite nice for them because it can deal multiple hits before the ghosts get pushed back. Makes destroying them just a tiny bit faster. Combine that with crit and the crit side passives, definitely worthwhile.
After I learned to use Iridium Needle then I barely to use the other weapons. My fight skill is 'Desperado' . My best weapon is ' Iridium Needle ' forge with ' Dragon Tooth ' for Innate enchantments ' +1-3 Crit. Chance ' then forge with Aquamarine x 3. and last one ' Artful ' enchantment. The ring just whatever in this point bc the Cri rate is already high. ( actually don't need any aquamarine ring but you can do if you like ) Just one Cri can be kill most of enemies in 3 cells area in front of you. Also you can even make more than 1000+ damage from special attack. note : forge with Dragon Tooth is only for non 'Galaxy' weapons and must has least lv. 15 - DO NOT forge your weapon with gems before Dragon Tooth. Because forge with gem do increase weapon Lv. if you already done for 3 times the weapon lv. will too high for Dragon Tooth. ( only way to reset lv. is unforge it. )
oh yeah even you have bad aiming or fear to get close to monsters. you can get the Trinket ' Ice Rod ' to freeze the enemies nearby you. believed me. use Iridium Needle is so much fun.
thank god they didnt change the club, and in my opinion is the best weapon in the game, knowing that, in pc if you press the right click, then spam left click you can do multiples attacks at once, with scout and acrobat for extra crit rate and half the cool down, really good stuff
I ended triple ruby forged Infinity Blade with Vampiric enchant wearing iridium/burglar and iridium/lucky rings on my latest 1.6 console perfection run. Oh and I alternated running a parrot or the quiver trinkets. The quiver helps keep mobs off you when blasting staircases down skull cavern.
I'm a switch player so I just got the 1.6. I'm still in the early game (winter year 1) but I'm so excited for all the later game additions, like the mastery cave! I got really unlucky with no rain in fall, so I couldn't catch a lot of the fish for the community center bundles :(
Rings: The irridium band is fantastic. The effects stack so having 2 is nice, but there are several other rings worth considering. The number 1 ring to compete for that second slot is the Burglar Ring. You get double the drops from monsters. That saves you so much time when you are grinding for drops. You get the burglar ring as a reward for killing 100 dust sprites in the mines. Honestly not a bad way to level your combat skills, grinding dust sprites on level 40-60. Trinkets: there are a lot of fun trinkets to use. Until you start doing the challenge versions of the dungeons, I think all trinkets are equally valuable. Once you up the difficulty of the dungeons, debuffs start to become a big problem, monsters take more damage and everything hits harder. Trying to minimize the negatives helps a lot. You can get your immunity up to 10 with equipment, but it takes one of your ring slots and the 6 immunity boots are difficult to get. I think its much easier to get the Basilisk Paw trinket. The Basilisk Paw makes you immune to debuffs. While it isn't as flashy as the other trinkets, it really is one of the strongest trinkets. You also don't have to keep farming to get a better quality of Basilisk Paw, unlike other trinkets. This lets you pick the boots with the highest defense, and any other rings you'd like. The healing fairy is nice, but food is more reliable for healing. Damage from trinkets is nice, but ultimately you'll do way more than the trinkets. The money producing trinket is fun, use it when you aren't struggling to survive. Weapon choice: that is totally personal. Hammer, Sword, Dagger have their own style. Try all of them, make sure to try using their special attack. Once you figure them all out all of them are good in their own way. I like the swords. You might like something else better. Use whatever feels good to you. There is a case for each kind of weapon to be called the best. My end-game suggestion for equipment would be an Iridium Band, Burglar ring, Basilisk Paw, Cinderclown Shoes or Dragonscale Boots if you are lucky enough to find them, and a galaxy weapon of some sort until you can upgrade it. Add 3 forge enhancements to your weapon, honestly tailor to your own playstyle. Add +3 defense to your weapon if nothing else excites you. When you go to combine rings, go wild. Tons of fun combinations are possible.
Slingshots on mobile are honestly useless, its so difficult to aim ¡^¡

If you have full immunity or some ginger on hand they will be a piece of cake to deal with 🤗

Ghost I don't know much about combat so this helped a lot I can't wait until I unlock the forge.

I'm in fall 24 and no rain yet. is it just luck?
Ghost! Another nice vid. It would have been cool to include the debuffs, but I guess it would have made the video too long.😅
It really would have! 😅
