Raymond Weil and Frédérique Constant both brands are very underrated and under appreciated brands. They make some very good watches with Sellita movements. Their classic dress watches are almost Breguet like in design.

Great video, thanks. I own two Weil watches, a Freelancer with the date complication and a Maestro very much like the one in this video, only without the Sun and Moon complication, I have the Jubilee band for that and it's an absolute stunner. They are truly a great value for a very high quality piece. A couple of years ago I got the Sun and Moon Orient which I'm quite pleased with. Again thanks for such great videos and please review more Weil watches... I, for one, could be tempted further!!!

My Raymond Weil I bought 2nd hand is great I liked it but was drawn to get something better. After being able to purchase one of my attainable dream watches two tone date just in 18k yellow gold. Since then realized that my Raymond Weil is just as good quality. And I purchased the Raymond Weil for 350. And my Rolex mid 90s model 7400. Don’t get me wrong Rolex is great but other than the name I don’t think it is over 7k more of a watch.

I LOVE moonphase watches, because my family had a mantel clock with a little moonphase dial. It reminds me of home. This specific watch super extra reminds me of that little clock, because of the roman numerals and the accents in the center of the dial. This is definitely on my short list of watches to buy once I pay off some student loans.
I'm a woman with pretty small wrists, but 40mm watch faces look okay on me. I dislike how things like this are still labeled as "men's watches". I wish there was something we could do to try to influence the watchmaking community to just ditch the gendered labels. There's so many more accurate adjectives to describe the aesthetic differences between what we currently know as men's and women's watches!

Love the look of this watch, especially the dial - the only thing that slightly turns me off is the chunkiness of that case, and I wish there weren't so many dress watches that had a date window! It ruins the face of so many dials in my opinion.
