If it makes you feel better, this track is on the highest difficulty. There is probably a way to tone it down so you can play without needing a sharingan to see whats happening.
I wish for that too, but it most likely won't happen. The whole gimmick of this version is the different characters you can select instead of customization
I am currently using the joycon with the grip as well! I am finding it difficult though because I have been a long time computer taiko player and making the transition is difficult. I feel like with practice I will get better though! What button customization do you use? I just use the default one but is there any merit in actually playing with another button setup? I also purchased the taiko drum kit and am looking forward to playing with that as well :)
@@BruceDeluxe I also use the default layout, Type 1(specifically Up, Right, Y, X). The other layouts dont have any advantages, it's just whatever you feel is more comfortable
How do you manage to hit the 1/4th notes though with the controller. Like how is it possible to alternate that fast with your thumbs. I could do those notes on my computer but on the controller with my thumbs just does not seem to be possible. Is this something that will fix itself with enough time and practice?
@@BruceDeluxe I'd be lying if I said I knew anything about music and timings lol if you give me a time stamp I can explain what I'm doing. Everything I do, up until 6:07, is me just tapping every button individually. Playing faster really is one of those things that will happen naturally, like you said, or you can "train" for it by playing faster songs and songs with very little breaks. You'll feel like your forearms are burning, when you're new to it, it's the weirdest thing because all you're doing is pressing buttons lol
bummer. it'd be nice to pick individual tracks off the ps4 and switch versions. out of these dlc packs theres only like 1 or 2 songs that i really dig. the rest are fluff
The power ups seem a bit flawed when you could technically just look at the opponents side if you have something on you that makes it harder to hit notes
it's still really confusing because the feedback is on your side, so you have no visual cue if you hit the thing or not also, odds are, they have something fucking them over too
How do hit those notes in Souryu No Ran? I mean, how fast do your fingers have to be to even hit half of those? That's literally the only song I haven't beaten and I'm afraid it's gonna stay that way for a long time. Any tips, maybe?
That's because I'm not actually hitting each note individually. 300bpm on controller is near impossible. What I'm doing is rolling my thumb across two buttons. So in a single movement I'm hitting two dons with my right thumb, and two dons with my left thumb. I'm on Type 1 layout.
Do you have the Japanese version or another region? Other regions are a bit behind on updates and DLC, so you can expect it to show up in your eShop in a week or two

@@sparky3801 I think the trick is to make another user with Switch Online(Only needed when doing tutorial) with Japan information but YOU ALSO NEED A NINTENDO ACCOUNT. Then, with that user, go on the EShop and look for it. I think that is the way, I think.
As a person without this game, I want to know: is online multiplayer available on any difficulty? I'm good at Normal/Hard, but I cant do Oni for the life of me.
Sorry you haven’t been answered yet but they use just about everything (controller, joy-cons, drum). If you want to mod your drum you can probably look up a tutorial video on what you’re looking for but I don’t think his is modded.

Nope, DLC is still very lackluster and they only release DLC once a month.
