Welcome to the "WWII History & Reenacting" RUclips channel!
The main focus of this channel is primarily military history, mainly within the second world war (WW2) timeframe. The channel features various content, such as videos on metal detecting, magnet fishing, exploring and visiting historical sites, collecting militaria, reenactment, restoration etc. I'm a WW2 reenactor/living history enthusiast and many of my videos feature tutorials, kit reviews, reenactment footage and information about the hobby. I mainly portray the German side within the timeframe. Collecting militaria is a huge part of my life. Unboxing videos, collectible presentations, and collecting tips, as well as metal detecting and relic hunting are also typical videos on the channel.
This channel is strictly non-political and my videos are meant to be fun, educational, and informative
Enjoy!

The 14 dislikes are soliders who didn't pass drill inspection. Keep up the outstanding work and educational videos. Thanks Benjamin
Hahah, nice one Benjamin! :)
Thank you so much! :)
....wish all resentment groups were as dedicates and accurate in their training, etc. You honour the men in whose boots you tread....respect to you and yours!
Thank you very much! I hope we can inspire other groups to do the same :)
You guys are basically like a Reservist or National Guard unit one week end a month. Fantastic! Keeping the knowledge up is great.
In a way I guess XD
Thank you!!! :) :) :)
Just stumbled on this... a Reservist or National Guard unit has people that earned the title of Soldier, by going to basic training, advanced training and then schools, field exercises, etc. and of course activations and deployments. So, no...not "literally". Reenacting is a club with frequent costume partys.
@Zombie I understand what your saying... I reenacted for 10 years. I've also spent 25 as a Soldier and the two are completely different. One is a costume party, the other is a profession and in no way comparable. No offense to reenactors, but to actually try to compare them IS offensive to Soldiers who earned the title the hard way.
@Zombie Cheers!
Wow, that video was fantastic, the music was lovely. Thank you 😊🇦🇺🙋♂️
Thank you very much for the comment, i really appreciate it! :)
Thank you, very informative. I was a member of the 1st LAH reenactment group in the US. The experience is amazing in opening your eyes to the reality of what happened.
I wish we had a reenacting bootcamp in the US. A few of us "larger GI"s could use it. Badly.
Great movie!
This is the real reenacting! Please more training films, best regards!
Thank you very much, Im glad you liked the video! Will try to make some more soon! :)
Man this looks fun, but I'm too young ;( and hopefully when I'm of age they still have something like this
Glad you liked the video! I can really recommend this hobby! Start by finding a unit in your area that you would like to join, focus on buying the correct stuff, and pay attention to detail from the very start. Your time will come :)
Why wait? You can be Hiterjugend.
I'm 14 and I'm apart of a group thats the 9th Infantry Division
I’m 16 and well I hope to do the same sometime
@@hinrichvonheinz8623 How?
Lovely photos! I'm very glad to see your uploading again.
Thank you! Glad to hear that you think so :)
Very nice video.
I've done this sort of thing. But for 80 days, in a real modern army.
I know how it feels the camaraderie can be outstanding at the end during the passing out parade.
Thank you! :) Yes many of us are ex military, active duty or national guard, and it's nice to re-experience the military camaraderie again :)
You guys doing very well!!! Cant wait for new videos. I am interested in wich language you all use or speak while reeanacting or you guys all together anyway?? Norwegian or german?? And it have to call "... Würstchen" .. not Würsten! ;)) Kameradschaftliche Grüsse aus Hamburg
Thank you. thank you, thank you! It's a mix of german and norwegian - usually we use german commands, and also add german language lessons to events whenever we can (typical WH words). :)
Vorbildlich Kameraden!
Thank you! :)
Was enjoyed as usual. Will try to bring some of your way of reenactment to Ua :)
Thank you very much Eduard. Glad to hear that the videos are inspirational, it means a lot! :)
Wow I would really be into re-enacting if I could find a group like this near me
Shouldn't they be only wearing a sleeve eagle, no runes or rank for being a recruit?
An SS recruit was titled "SS-Bewerber", it was the lowest rank and assigned to people who were candidates in the SS or hasn't done any basic training. An SS-Bewerber rarely had uniform and where he did, it was very basic and had no insignia at all. These guys have uniform with insignia so they are cannot be SS-Bewerbers, they are further along in training and hold full rank of SS-Mann (or SS-Schutze).
Hey! Where can I find German World War 2 physical fitness training manuals?
Awesome. Please will you show long video clips from future training events?
Certainly will! ;)
You honestly learn a lot yourself beyond the regular reenactment groups, and if you’re drilling it’s especially because guys take yourselves seriously. I don’t know where you guys are located, but I feel like every American male should do something similar to this just to appreciate history, discipline, and comradeship.
I can’t tell you how fun this looks every time I go to one of your videos is gives me hope that I’ll join a re-enactment group and gain proper equipment
Where did you buy that uniform?
This made my day
Glad you liked it :)
Hi guys, respect for your work in Rekonstruktion, can u answer, what camera or filter was In video and foto
hey there im just starting my own group of a regiment of the wehrmacht during ww2 and i have an officer uniform LT what advice do u guys have for starting new groups?

WWII History & Reenacting oh that's cool
Thank you very much Claudius! :)
Where can I join?
Great work, an amazing group!
Is this reenactment training in Norway?
Yes :)
hello sir! What is the intro music from 0:00 to 0:12?
Sounds like a guitar version of ruclips.net/video/6vrteoqlu9k/видео.html
Wir Sind des Geyzer Schwarzen Haufen, if you look it up like that you’ll find some really good renditions.
Great video! 😀👍
Thank you! :)
Uao, beautiful and entertaining even for the fourth time I watch it! Are you guys wearing a high boot variant or not? I cannot figure it out. You're awesome!
I’m a marine so I wonder how every basic military training compares to that, I know back then they could beat the shit outta you so I’m curious what all boot camp/ basic trainings are like throughout history on all sides, I know german soldiers have always been well trained especially before the end of ww2 so I could imagine they had some legit hard training
It definitely wasn’t an adult summer camp like this one sounds the chocolaty moral boost was funny
I read the ‘Forgotten Soldier’ about a guy who was in the Grossdeutschland Divison...they had an average of 4 deaths a training cycle.
So yeah. Sounds brutal.
I'm glad a marine thinks that way about them! In both World Wars, the Germans were the best soliders with the best-equipment( in some limits, ehm Panzer gearbox). Sadly, they always had lack of men-power. If the Nazis had more soliders like those from the 6th Army, they would for sure win the war. Towards the end of the war, there were very few veterans and the recruits couldn't compare themself with those from the start of the war.
very interesting and great info, thanks
Thank you, Im glad you liked the video! :)
this looks like fun! I'm doing this with friends in a few weeks with a schedule very similar to yours!
How can i get information of these kind of events small things like the training the lessons are something i want to learn just a amazing video this can be a example of how human the vets where on both sides
Very great video!
Thank you! :)
Oh i love ww2 German reenacting so much! Sadly, i'm from Brazil, and there's no such thing here (i guess, i've never found any ww2 reenacting group here) also, all items needed for reenacting are too much expensive...
Can I participate as a woman?
Of course you can! :)
But, at least In our reenactment unit, we strive to portray history as accurate as possible, and therefore you would not be able to join as a regular soldier. But there are many other female type roles to reenact which are equally important and meaningful. I have many friends that do amazing female reenactment impressions. If you are looking for an interesting, fun and meaningful hobby I would highly recommend it!
Best regards from Norway :)
@@ww2historyandreenacting That totally sucks! I’m also a female who wants to join a unit but I want to be infantry or nothing. I could ‘simulate’ being a guy as much as possible including wearing a wig but I can only do so much.
It really depends on the particular unit, whether they’re willing to allow a male ‘simulation’ or not?? I want to write to several and just ask, but I don’t want to be laughed at either.. The other re-enactments just do NOT sound fun to me. I would love to re-enact as a Wehrmacht soldier.
I just left the real army where I was a paratrooper in the 82d (ABN) Division and if I’m not running around firing a weapon in the dirt, I’m not happy! I’m not ‘butch’ or anything, just a free spirit and a bit of a tomboy.
Do you think they’re be a unit willing to let in a ‘male simulation’? I live in the states, and the first guy who tells me I can be a nurse gets a digital gut punch.
And nope. No Soviets. Nope nope nope. Blyat! It’s either a soldier of my old unit (the Airborne) or a Wehrmacht because that’s what I like and what fascinates me.
I mean, we’re simulating everything else? Why cannot I simulate being a man, especially if I work at it? I could probably pass a a younger man if I work on my look a bit? And believe me, I would start my own group of female reenactors who wouldn’t mind pretending to be a boy, but even after being in the military I can find only a tiny handful of women worldwide who share this passion with me, and they’ve all been online. Not a soul in real life! 🥵
Very interesting video. Thanks.
Thank you! :)
Superb !
Thank you! :)
What unit is this?
Hvordan kan man kontakte Dere?
Du finner oss på facebook :)
a lot of focus was spent on buttons
This is true reeanacting. Getting into character fully, not just fighting in character, but living in character outside of battle. Also, I'm 13 and live in the US, how would I be able to reeanact?
I’m 16 and there ain’t shit I can find in the US like this. I wish we could do more fun things like that over here
@@mattyice5702 there’s a shit load of units in the US
@@mattyice5702 There’s all kinds of units both German and American, also a couple British ones too.
Very educational & eye opening excellent!
Thank you Thomas, I'm so glad that you enjoyed the video! :) :)

Hello
Very nice video
Danke
Where is this done
This was epic as hell. May i join your team next time? I really would love it!
Greetings from germany!
He probably has an insta account or a website; hit him up on it if you don’t mind the traveling! :-)
Helmet indoors?
One day I’d love to be able to do something like this!
May I ask a question
Sure 😊
Well are the weapons you guys were using in the photos real or were they reproductions. If the latter is the case where did you find them?
Im planning on getting into the American United states Army Airborne in ww2 reenacting, but you crouts not sure if i spelt that right anyway you guys do a fantastic job at what you do, keep it up👍👍👍👍😁 🇺🇸 all the way.
Kraut, like sauerkraut
I’m looking to get into a ‘kraut’ unit in the US....I was already Airborne (82d) in real life and while it would be fun to re-enact as one, I’ve been there and a Wehrmacht unit just sounds so...fun to re-enact as.
But quick tip....these reenactors are not acting as Germans, they are WSS-Wiking, so they wouldn’t be called a Kraut unit, they would simply be nordische.
this is my idea of german reenactment ! i found this video whilst searching for an early war HEER unit that carry out a lot of drill ! ...ss units sure have a lot of lectures !...lol
Thank you! 🤗 Yes, we found that the level of immersion generated with a strict and eventful schedule is very good at such bootcamp style events 😊
This looks so real... For god's sike this is better than netflix
who does belong thoses buldings? those seem quite large!
Former division sized German army camp and training ground from ww2 - still pretty much intact
ok but who owns it ? it looks fantastic but it should be so expensive!

WWII History & Reenacting thats a long way from Wisconsin
Das. Would be so cool to do. Im in indiana any place nere by
I'm wondering the same question
World war gave us great sorrows and pain. Our brothers and sisters suffered heavily. We may pray never happen again. We don't be sad by the remembrance of the sad full calamity.
We all reborn in heaven with our peoples. We must believe in The Supreme God alone and pray to him alone in order to get Paradise of Heaven.
Be lovingly. Be kind. Be helpful.
World wars destroyed two good brothers, German and Bretteesh. That is the big lose of world.
We all one. We all must return to heaven.
Thank you.
Footage of Volksgrenadiers training in berlin before the Soviets reaches them:
All jokes aside this was good
I need to go
are blood tattoo real ones ?
Yes, the one in the photo is.
do you have one on your arm ?
I do not have one
I have watched the entire video, but it just won‘t get in my head, why someone would choose to reenact the Waffen-SS...
But I have to admit, you guys did a fairly realistic job
Nitram Eklöht I think they do it because they are interested in the history of ww2
Peter Griffin 69 that I do understand, but why would you choose to portrait a bunch of war criminals and whats even worse, those who are responsible for the holocaust?
@@HerosW2454 yes the ss was involved in politics but remember that they were frontline divisions, just like any heer infantry division, yes some of them committed war crimes and yes some of them participated in the holocaust but I don't see the same outrage when people reenact soviet troops or partisans who committed war crimes just like the Germans or even airborne and Marines divisions who in very few cases also committed atrocities.
In 2020 the internet is pretty free from propaganda and oversimplification, if you are interested in history please do your research becouse no human conflict is simply bad guy vs good guy
@@HerosW2454 Because they are in Norway and they are portraying a Real life Norwegian unit, the Wiking Divison who fought exclusively at the east front for the full war, fighting not participating in the Holocaust.
Why SS and not a regular Wehrmacht Unit?
Because they are in Norway, so they’re portraying the real-life Norwegian WSS unit Nord...the Wiking Division.
I like there smiles.
beers in boot camp?
Wow...now that's what I call a weekend
very cool, I find it so sad that grenades are banned in my country for reenactment. Even wooden mock ups are illegal and are seen as explosive devices
Nice
Sorry, I am confused.
The SS symbols and the swatika are banned in Germany. Therefore you are somewhere else. You chose not to tell us where you are. So I stopped watching.
Norway
@@ww2historyandreenacting what a silly reason to stop watching
why stop watching, thats fuckin gay 😂
2:57 An iconic photo of SS soldiers making nazi salute with 2 hands while squatting (1942, uncolourised)
why did i see this 5 months later lol
Sereiously creepy to reenact WW II Nazis particularly when people are still alive who were hunted by them.
i wish every unit worldwide of every nation would do shit like this, silly to see everyone tryna be panzergrenadiers but end up looking like Goering sporting a camouflage trash bag
Was veranlaßt junge Norweger, SS-Uniformen anzuziehen und Praktiken des ehemaligen Feindes im 2. Weltkrieg nachzuvollziehen? In Deutschland ist das verboten und wird ggf. bestraft.
Zer good
Somma you, and you know who you are, are a little heavy for a Waffen SS trooper. Doncha think?
lets go its potato digger!
Hats off for you doing this but you guys must be on the spectrum
Why because they have a hobby? That’s dumb
You guys are playing nazi?
.
Posers practicing being Nazis? For some bizarre reason they are obviously blind to history. There is no legitimate need to 'reenact' WWII.
It's a hobby, chill. It's like reenacting WW1, Civil war etc
Someone sounds a little jealous
It’s called reenactment which is a real hobby. People do it for different war eras. I’ve been to the civil war ones that are a lot of fun. There’s nothing wrong with these guys doing this. They are doing something they enjoy and also preserving the history of one of the most important eras of humanity.
Great video!
Thanks! :)
I have watched the entire video, but it just won‘t get in my head, why someone would choose to reenact the Waffen-SS...
But I have to admit, you guys did a fairly realistic job
Why not?
Agreed... The majority of Wehrmacht combat troops were Army, so why choose the armed branch of the Nazi party to reenact?
@@mitchrichards1532 it's for lovecraftian maritime law, mitch
It’s because they are from Norway so they are portraying a real life Norwegian unit, the Wiking Divison...they fought exclusively at the front for the full war and weren’t a participant in the Holocaust
