Thanks for taking us along! 😀 that was creepy!
heeeeeey thanks for coming.
Moved my daughter into her dorm at UofSC yesterday. Rode by there today and they’ve torn a lot down. I would think it would be on the list of historical places. It’s sad.
It really is sad
I used to work Williams bldg. 218 open unit. Then moved to the Preston bldg. I miss it.
Oh wow! That’s kinda cool. It’s so wild how quickly Mother Nature just gobbles things up.
My grandfather and grandmother worked here in the 60s and 70s. His name was Robert P Strom and was over the radiology department and my grandmother Mary Charlotte Calhoun Strom was a nurse there. I just remember no one ever told me what they really did there. My grandfather would take me to work with him and I remember sitting in his office and not being allowed to touch anything. For some reason I just decided to Google it this morning and found this video. I can't believe I didn't really know much about the history.
Never will I ever go to the Williams building again, I remember my grandpa took me to both asylums when I was younger but the Williams building is a big fuck no for me I remember when we got into the parking lot I saw a fucking doll in a window we drove around the building and when we got back to the front the doll was gone, and for a building that has no electricity you’ll see like little light bulbs moving in front of the windows I will never go back to that place
Hahaha that is awesome. That would have made me want to go in more… straight to that window
So sad to see how it went down but the building is no more torn down now
Such a bummer. I have tons of footage of it burning ... sad night
Those are Simunition casings which are the police version of paintball used in tactical training. SWAT teams use old buildings to train in. I'd bet some of the doors inside have been manually breached or shotgun breached in the name of training.
I later found out that some kids set up that scene as some kind of music video or short movie or something. it was filmed for some reason. I cant remember what it was.
I don't think I would want to rent one of these apartments. You can't renovate the creepy history out of that place.
ohh man I love stuff like that

Used to be SCSH Admissions. Two larger than life sisters used to work in that office. I believe both have passed on, now. RIP Aaron sisters.
oh wow. that is crazy. I have a bunch of iPhone footage of this place burning down. well not this building specifically but the main building. this one just got torn down to make room for the REI
when there has been demonic activity from the past while the living were there, after all life is gone the evil comes in to destroy what remains.
Word. Humans come to destroy everything! Buncha evil jerks.
Sour’s a local legend in Columbia 😂
Haha I legit was just talking about Sour. Rolled by a new? Klever tag and was just thinking I haven’t seen those guys in years. So damn insane that you messaged this because I swear it had to be exact same timing.
@@DavidBluetile you remember that huge one he did on the old prison? I miss seeing all those. That would have been cool to explore when it was still open too. They actually built those apartments there, well one was right where death row and the electric chair was and they had to tear that part down because all the tenants complained of paranormal stuff.
oh that is weird. paranormal stuff! haha I dont know if I buy into that stuff.... ive been in so many old buildings and I have never had that vibe. but yeah I do remember those guys getting up every where.
@@DavidBluetile yeah! They would hear all kinds of knocks and occasionally screams. Some said they would feel immediate dread as soon as they entered that building. Feeling like they were being pushed down the stairs 😬 so much so no one wanted to live there so they tore that specific building down and put a courtyard up.
Can you still go ? Or is there any other places to go kinda scary
This building is actually gone now. There are some other buildings that are still there or partially there for exploring. You def gotta be sneaky. Don’t go at night because they’ll see your flashlights
@@DavidBluetile is there somewhere you recommend me and my friends might be going to this school close by not sure yet tho
@@Vexilityy I mean those buildings are cool. You just have to be careful going into the remaining buildings. It’s dangerous as hell. There is also a old sanitarium in the north east of columbia. My Instagram has a lot of photos of that place too. Just gotta scroll back.
@@DavidBluetile I’ll check you out , thanks man . It suck’s they’re taking this big old places down
@@Vexilityy watch out for the asbestos for real though. That’s the scariest part.
I bet today's kids don't know what u just fixed on the wall
haha I just revisited this. made myself giggle. god I'm an idiot. I'm glad people still come back and watch these things. this building is gone now. :(
Bro I would never go in a place like that by myself!😂
haha I kinda dig it.
I would, but I would have "a friend or two" in my pocket.
can you still go here? i saw this and wanna go with friends
This building is gone now. There are other buildings on the same property though.
Peeling paint, incinerator aesthetics and stairs creep me out. “...this is where the ladies live” 🤣. Calamity Nance T-shirt 🤔. Hope you are all doing well 💛
Im hanging in there! I didnt even know rice posted this one until a few minutes ago.
Sadly they are demolishing this historic building. Shame.
This is a damn shame.
Can you still go in?
@@VexilityyI don't think there's anything left at this point.
Is there anything remaining or was all of it burned or demolished?
There is a good bit left buts being developed now
The pencil sharpener! I’d have done the same thing
I def grabbed a few! Haha
Too bad no dale lol cool video still I subbed
Oh thanks. Def give me pointers. I do this sort of stuff on a whim most times and plan so poorly
You crazy going by yourself
Haha everyone says that
It was closed in 1990
It really is crazy how quickly things just start to fall apart
Nope! Williams Bldg was still going strong in early 1994.
Yo David how do you not get caught
I typically go during the day so people dont see your flashlights. thats the mistake everyone makes by going at night.
Wasting of time
fun waste of time.... for me at least.
Did you know if you had a limp, your family could put you away ! A limp !! Pefect sence above average, but a limp less or more serious alments. Its ashame David, you dont give any history!
Then really neither does anyone eles! Its a shame. The public library can give you so much interesting information.
Arg. Yeah I beat myself up for not be better at that. Typically I explore on a whim and I’m like “look y’all”
Thank goodness for Viagra! Now instead of going to the State Hospital and being locked away for "a limp", they can take a pill!
😁
Editing was cool, scary this time 😳🤪🤭
ok ben. I know you were directed to say this jerk
