Like I commented on your nairobi railway city, this could now take off coz it has been re-contracted to an Asian contractor , my worry is now on the rironi mau summit , hope the French wount mess with it and drop after ten years .
US will not construct the road. They will engage you in endless negotiations and renegotiations. Give it to the Chinese, China Roads and Bridge. They have shown capability of constructing a good road in the past. These days, America and Europe have a problem doing Projects in Africa.
China is like pawnbroker. They give you easily money and projects, but in exchange they economically enslave countries, later politically too. And it is not only in Africa. Chinese are doing the same in any poor country in Europe, Central Asia, Latin America, etc. I know the US has much beraucracy, but it is a safer investment.
It’s not the longest express way in Africa. Lagos- Kano is the longest in Africa over 980 kilometers-It’s been built on segment. Lagos-Ibadan-Oyo is done (190km), segment from Lokoja to Kano 580 km is almost complete. The outstanding segment from Oyo to lokoja is underway. There’s also Kano-Maiduguri about 540km is almost completed as well.
Hi Dolphine! The next mega project to launch sooner should be the rironi to mau Sammit dual carriageway! The Africa development bank has already approved the $150 million for the project and so should be launched very soon! The Nairobi to Mombasa Express way is also highly anticipated but have the funds been secured yet?
How I wish this road would be a 3 /4 by 3/4 Lane and would be from mombasa to malaba the uganda and kenya border through nairobi, then at the border they would fix a good court with police border& police station and a truck clearance separated from buses and cars clearance, then the bus stage should not be along the road so as to make the road clean and free flow without interruption from matatus as seen in thika road
Hi sweetie, great presentation with clear references. I am sure by the time the project ends I will have seen you in action on the sites. Wear the helmet, reflective jacket and safety boots. Stay great. Stay lovely
Do a video about Tall rise buildings in common residential areas like Roysambu, Kayole, Zimmerman, Utawala, Donholm etc. I saw a Nigerian RUclipsr saying that Kenyans live in Skyscrapers😂. She said in Nigeria they don't have many tall buildings but in Kenya it's very common to see skyscrapers/tall buildings (Common residential and office buildings) almost everywhere
It’s true Nigerians don’t have high rise buildings a lot. We like individual privacy hence most of our buildings are stand alone. There are high rise buildings in Lagos but are scattered all over but unlike Nairobi which is concentrated within the same area. Abuja was planned to have the tallest building height of 25 floors max. I’m a Nigerian by the way…
Will it be a free road or a toll one? I thought it'll be completely separate from the existing Nrb-Msa highway until you mentioned the new express way will join the old one at some point.
Kenya should rethink on further mega infrastructure projects which can exacerbate the country's sovereign debt to outside stakeholders. Here they just upgrade the road infrastructurs to one or two extra lanes.
Good ! I hope they put some thought into the pedestrian routes . In my opinion any foot paths should kept well away from ALL motorways. Service stations and bus stops should also be branched of the highway Please!! Otherwise these best laid plans will not look good . or work well...traffic stopping randomly this will be followed by the slow build up of this and that. please lets stop living on the motorway , I think we have enough space to have world class infrastructure. Above all for safety sake ❤❤
@@pinchesmbuche4354 the reasoning of breakfast n dinner does not make sense Resources are limited. There is already SGR n the old road wat purpose will the new investment serve
Dealing with wazungu the project will delay for another decade. The government should have given the project to Japan or China it would take them 5 years to complete, that is by 2027 kenyans waanze kutumia barabara.
What for when we already have loss making SGR, old meter gauge railway & Mombasa road??? Not that am against the construction of Nairobi -Mombasa expressway but to be honest i don't see any sense here!!
Can't wait to see it happen. Azimio kazi iendelee

Hello , new sub here to support and I really enjoyed the video...kenya is really growing and it's the best thing
I love to see such projects. Transportation will be made easier once we achieve all these projects.
In the building watching from Barbados😎
Good segment.

Yeeeeeees Dolphine 😊 Awesome updates 💯💯👍 Peace and love ❤️

Am really loving this congratulations to Kenya

Thank you so much Faith 🙏🏾
I must be the first one to watch....always
Continue doing such great updates. Very unique
Yes...thanks for your continued support
Great to hear about this development, hope it will be done soon.

This will be a real game changer

Thanks alot for this video, trusting and hoping to see this very soon by God's grace. As a Kenyan i pray for it.
I hope it will also be build very fast as the current one
My hope too
Great stuff. Could you update us on the state of ongoing dams construction and the mau mau road.
O
Thanks for watching and for your feedback I'll do that soon
Nice sharing

Just want to know if it's ongoing or stalled
Please give us an update about this project.
Nairobi needs public transport improvements. These Matatus are deadly making the citizens mistrust the government pledges
Bt between this project and rironi... nakuru to mau summit Which one will start.
Both
rironi ongoing as well as mau summit. nairobi nakuru highway financing is ongoing.
You have not informed us of the cost of traversing this express way.
Is it for fat pockets only?
Will it be a free road or a toll one? I thought it'll be completely separate from the existing Nrb-Msa highway until you mentioned the new express way will join the old one at some point.
It's elevated.
1:17 they declined the offer due to kick backs needed to facilitate the process.😂😂
Ewe Kenya mama yangu 😅😅
We need dams now so that we can produce more food and electricity, not roads
Why is it being funded by the United States?! Africa have serious issues! What's wrong with Kenya using it's own money or raising it's own money?!
Kenyan money huh ..that's stolen by the politicians they could have solved the turkana drought menace first by using Kenyan Money
Kenya should rethink on further mega infrastructure projects which can exacerbate the country's sovereign debt to outside stakeholders. Here they just upgrade the road infrastructurs to one or two extra lanes.
Its using the PPP model
Dependent development may be ok for a while but then it begins to negate the independece of a nation.
Where is "here"?

There is already SGR n the old road
Improvements can be made on SGR instead of this
Wat is the purpose of this new investment
Infrastructure has never been an option. Is like saying you eat breakfast you won't eat dinner.
@@pinchesmbuche4354 the reasoning of breakfast n dinner does not make sense

@@arfenmalik1717 Do you know how many people use that road three quarter of Kenya GDP is in between these two cities.

Wazungu ..better pay for employees see the bigger picture
So no Kenyan company could have built it?
Corruption my guy. They will inflate the price to the extreme for no reason
We want foreigners to build it so that it could end quickly without money being stolen

We need expansion of roads bruh makes travel easy plus saves time and lives
The cover photo of this video,is actually what other African countries see in RUclips like this, will be jealous for Kenyans citizens

Kwanini kila saa mombasa? Western is more important in my opinion
Because that's the remaining project to connect fully with the port
which is the western road?
Haiya!
There's developments in western area too. Kindly do your research
Without that port of mombasa there's no kenya my friend.
Wrong flag for South Sudan.
Borrowing again
You can see how nairobi express way has chsnged the game and view now imagine nairobi to mombasa
