A bit of background, ATEEZ are a modern take on pirates (treasure seekers). They use the Cromer (hourglass) to travel through time and space. There are 2 universes: "A" where ATEEZ our pirates exist, and "Z" where there alter egos, the Halateez, are fighting against their government which has banned all forms of art and things that invoke emotion because emotionless people are easier to control. If you look closely at the beginning of the MV you'll see a video of their leader's rap being broadcast to a classroom of students who had been brainwashed. At the end, they realize that their efforts caused at least one student to escape and try to find them to join their rebellion. They almost always tease music or the next part of the story at the end of their MVs. The last scene also suggested that KQ was about to debut a second boy group. Shortly after the MV dropped, they started posting pre-debut content of their trainees who debuted March 30th as xikers. The tracks of Guerrilla's album, The World EP 1: Movement, tell the story of their rebellion. I suggest Halazia next because it's also set in universe Z and tells the story from another perspective. Also, xikers (their company little brothers) are worth checking out. They had double title tracks on their debut album, Tricky House and Rockstar. They are also great performers.

I love Ateez because they aren't your typical kpop group. They are more rock than pop, but they are still versatile enough to be pop as well with some of their songs. If you want to check out their dancing, check out their dance practice videos. They really give their all when they are even just practicing. They are amazing! By the way, the screaming was done by Hongjoong, one of the rappers, the one with the black and white hair.
