  • Prior to her colon cancer diagnosis, Sherri noticed some symptoms like occasional rectal bleeding when going to the bathroom, which she assumed was just hemorrhoids.
    It wasn't until a routine stool test as part of her stage 4 metastatic breast cancer workup detected traces of blood that further testing was done. Doctors then discovered a precancerous polyp and abnormality in her rectum and she was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer.

    I really appreciate and I'm grateful for your kind words. I'm sorry that you have to go through that with your mom I can't even imagine that feeling of losing a mother. My kids are the reason I'm still alive honestly. They have given me so much power and strength to get through this part of my life. I definitely enjoy life a lot more than I used to before cancer so I'm not totally mad about it. Thank you for watching my videos it really means a lot to me and I really do hope that it can help other people. I always wanted to be able to take something bad and turn it into something good so hopefully I can do that for the world. Again I wish you much happiness and health for you and your mom.❤

    Hey Sherri, thank you so much for both of your interviews. They really gave me back some positivity and hope for my mum. She's 56 and has 3rd time breast cancer, this time MBC (in the lung). Her first line treatment stopped working, so now she's started chemo. I am 28 now, the first time I was 13, and even though I am a lot older than back then, I am still scared to loose her already. You inspired me to stop looking at statistics and to stay more positive again. Thank you!! P.s. I think I can understand your feeling of guilt and of course loosing a loved one - especially a loving and caring mum - hurts tremendously. However, I am so sure your kids are well ahead of others in their age already because they witnessed your immense strength, positivity/defiance, how you turned such an obstacle into something beautiful helping others as well (your Podcast, the Interview,...), and so many more things. Your kids are well prepared for life and you + what they learned from you will forevee stay in theirs. I say that as a daughter who loves and admires her own mum immensely as well, so I can relate to your children. I wish you and your family a lot of strength and healing. I am so glad that you're getting better again, you'll beat this! 💪😊

    I treated my cancer holistically. Entered year five cancer free. BEST decision I ever made!
    Thank you for your service! Happy Veterans Day!
    P.S. - Sugar/carbs feed cancer. Carb turns into sugar.

    • @iSheree
      @iSheree 8 месяцев назад +3

      The whole carbs/sugar thing feeding cancer is complicated and not necessarily true. If it were as simple as cutting out the sugar/carbs then we wouldn’t be doing the harsh treatments we do today. I have seen too many people try this instead of conventional treatments and end up dying. Cancer will always find a fuel. The sugar/carb link is more to do with the obesity link to some cancers. The more sugar you eat, the more likely you will be overweight. Being overweight is the risk factor for cancer, not sugar. Not all cancers are the same. Some are driven by hormones or genetics. Others may be caused by damage to tissue (e.g. skin cancer, sometimes stomach cancer from an ulcer or something). Well done on being 5 years free from cancer! I am fighting my first and hopefully last cancer!

    Wishing you a quick recovery from me and from my wife. Chemo can trigger colon cancer. Once the DNA of these cells is unstable and they loose markers which are targeted by conventional chemo, it is time for Fenbendazole which is an anti-parasitic medicine. Fenbendazole does not replace chemo as long as the DNA of metastatic cells has active correction genes. Once these genes are damaged, Fenbendazole starts helping.
