Okay, as much as I love the Nebula Class--this is a surprisingly awesome take on this design. I always thought of the Nebula Class as a "Science Vessel with Teeth..." The HR is the perfect expression of that thought. For the Confederation--it is just that and more. Well Done!

I just love how the Confederation is portrayed. This isn't the obviously evil Terran Empire. It's what the Federation could have been if they gave in to FEAR. Instead of boldly going where no one has gone before, they fearfully fight and subdue everything they meet. And it fits the state of the post 9-11 world.
Exactly, this universe is so interesting to me because it's basically the Federation, but only for humanity itself!

And even if they are, they need to take you into consideration.

I love the goofy edge lord names of the Confederacy. It's like the descendant of some very random goths family are on the Confederacy's starship design commissariat or something.
I wonder what the Terran empire would think of the confederation … also it would be scary to see their version of the Defiant

The Confederation basically. Honestly i VASTLY prefer the Confederation take on the Galaxy and Related classes. the Deflectors placement ON THE FRONT makes so much more sense and looks BADASSS AF.

Hello I have been enjoying your great channel for years now. Would it be possible on your ship reviews could you please go into more detail on the different weapon types and destructive abilities. Especially on true War starships. Also I would like more Klingon and Romulan ships please. Also cou6you go into a bit more about the different torpedo abilities. Thank you.

I've always been a fan of the Nebula Class, a great compliment to the Galaxy. The Hell Razer is a really nice-looking parallel evolution. The dish on the saucer suits the design and the streamlined nacelles are beautiful. I only have one issue... what use would Confederation have with escape pods?
The same use as in the Prime Universe...

Just a Dumb Hellraiser Joke.
While interesting, I feel like the weapons pod seems similarly armed when compared to it's Prime universe counterpart. I can imagine a weapon pod housing far more torpedo launchers if not a version of the spinal lance phaser. Hell imagine if the weapon pod was rotatable and allowed the spinal lance to fire in a 360 degree arc?
Because it isnt necessary! Simple... Just because you think something would be "So Cool," doesnt actually mean it makes sense... They already had 360 degree arc for Phaser and Torpedoes... And any other weapons are not for use against a moving starship, but for use against a stationary target, meaning the nonsense of rotation would not be needed, and would simply add another system to go down during combat! So you've basically got nothing with this comment, sorry!

All that out of the way I kind of enjoyed the whole confederation human empire in the Picard season 2 it was one of the only good things about it and if you lost the whole fascist aspect of it it's kind of appealing LOL I mean all the other races are doing their own thing why can't humanity do their own thing
The thing I dislike the most about both. Is the shuttle bay where the deflect array is on its baseline class. Galaxy and Nebula. I get why it's there. But doesn't look right IMO.

Nah, think of it as like, another, different mirror universe.
I really dislike the saucer design.
It looks like someone cut off the outer side parts, scaled them up, and then moved them outwards to get space for the guns.
That only adds complexity without a real payoff.
I think simply using the OG saucer design and having the phaser lances either recessed in the saucer or underslung would look better.
I do like the nacelles and the relocated main deflector dish though.
