    Would have been nice to show is more of the high clearance A-arms.
    I might have missed it, how about diff locks? Front and rear or just front? How about the power steering feel? Oh and seat slider distance would be cool and the steering wheel tilt.

    Awesome review. Road worthy addition is great. Didn't hear the brand. What is the fix to make doors easier to close? Best tip was almost no repairs compared to Can-Am Defender. Thanks!!

      Honestly rolling down the windows just a hair helps them close way easier. We need to fine a solid fix though.

    Looking at purchasing one of these as my new do it all hunting rig for eastern whitetail and western hunting (elk, pronghorn, mule deer). I have a 2021 Polaris RZR Turbo S 4 that I outfitted for hunting, but can't take the dusty cab anymore (even with my upper window enclosure). I'm between this or doing a Polaris General with full poly doors. Any recommendations? Love this has AC and fully sealed cab from the factory, but the General might be a little more capable with the suspension. I am worried the seal on the general is not as good as this ranger.

      @DerangedOffRoad  Год назад

      Honestly if your doing mountain riding the ranger is were it’s at. For what you’re doing you get a factory sealed kit, six seats, more rear storage and AC/heat. I would go with the Ranger all day long. -Garrett

    Tell us about the leg room being the driver and how comfortable are the seats

    • @DerangedOffRoad
      @DerangedOffRoad  Год назад

      Leg room is great but you do sit straight up. I’m use to sport machines but after time I probably would get use to the sitting position. -Garrett

    Just ordered my 2023 Trail Boss. Have you done any desert riding? I am wondering if the stock suspension decent or will I want to replace the shocks right away? Thanks

      Overall it does pretty well. One improvement that you can make is just new springs. You will be surprised by what those alone can do.

    Nice rig, Im wanting one myself to turn into a mud machine. Whats your thoughts on that, I think could make a really cool one, Maybe somewhere between 45 to possibly 50 in tires. Oh yeah, bad ass.

    • @DerangedOffRoad

      It would be cool, but a lot more work to clean overall in my opinion.

    • @DerangedOffRoad

      Reality is we know as much about mud machines as we do about UFO’s. They just seem like a lot of extra maintenance, broken parts and headaches, plus the cleaning like Garrett mentioned. Mud is pretty rare around here where we ride, but we do understand that the mud is a huge thing in some areas so these giant mud machines make sense for those that play in it.

    That’s funny how you say that Can am defenders are always breaking down. Where can am owners says the same of Polaris. The way it works is that, Polaris fans will always defend Polaris. Where as the same thing with can am owners. I know someone who has bought five can am defenders in a year and never had an issue with any of them. I owned a Polaris RZR 1000 S tricked out and had nothing but problems with it so I sold it.

    • @DerangedOffRoad
      @DerangedOffRoad  Год назад

      We had a Defender with some issues but overall it was solid. It’s been known that the full cab Defenders have had some issues the past couple of years.

    • @ethanh9535
      @ethanh9535 Год назад

      @@DerangedOffRoad what kind of issues? I haven’t heard of any.

    • @DerangedOffRoad
      @DerangedOffRoad  Год назад

      @@ethanh9535 the biggest one is the doors. They actually redesigned them for 2022 trying to fix the problem. They seem to come apart while towing down the highway. If you compare the ranger to the defender, the doors on the ranger are built better. Also AC issues on the defender with the system. When we say issues we’re only talking about the fully enclosed models. Also on the defender we had it had an fuel injection issue, which we have heard others with the same type of issue because they reached out to us. All machines have their own issues, but if we where to buy an enclosed machine, it would be the ranger for now.

      Well, it might be older tech, but so least they have it unlike all of the other competitors. Kawasaki is getting closer to matching the ride command system, but they aren’t there yet. All the other are a joke when it comes to the technology. What are you hoping to see that would be a revolution in your opinion?
