War photojournalist: 'You wish you could hide behind the camera'

  • War photographer Sir Don McCullin discusses his new exhibition at Hamiltons gallery in London, which includes selected works from his personal archive - some dating back as far as the 1950s.
    Speaking to Sky's Dermot Murnaghan, he explained how he tries to capture on camera what he sees in situations of conflict.
    He said: "I try to be invisible. What you hide behind...sometimes is the embarrassment and the awfulness of what is taking place in front of you like men being massacred in Beirut, executions of starving children."
